Description

For this episode we wanted to feature a Black social service organization. There are so many orgs out here doing the work and unfortunately they may not be as known as others. We came across Young Ladies of Our Future after seeing the founder, Katrina Brown Lee on the ID channel discussing her story of survival after being shot repeatedly by her spouse. Her road to healing and  finding her mission is inspiring. With this experience and many others in her life she has been determined to give back to the community and help other interrupt cycles like she has been able to do.
