Description

Hey Y'all we're back!!! Did you miss us? We sure missed y'all. We are kicking season 4 with a Listener's Request. So thankful for the Kings and Queens who listen to us and interact with us via social media and email. We were asked "Why aren't more black men choosing to be in social work"? This is question is nuanced and we felt it was best to discuss this with a black male in Social Work. So we reached out to King C aka Christopher Scott bka  Hip Hop Social Worker. King C hails from Portland, Oregon and currently works in school Social Work. He too has a podcast called The Hip Hop Social Worker he talks to other Social Workers about all things social work and sharing his philosophy of "Why Not Me"? Not only is he a Social Worker and podcaster he is also a Clinician providing Virtual Psychotherapy for clients ranging ages 16-65. If you want to reach out to him please follow him on ig and twitter @hiphopsocialworker or check out his website hiphopsocialworker.com.
