The Golden Knights had their nine-game winning streak snapped on Saturday against the St. Louis Blues. One of the goals was caused by miscommunication between Adin Hill and Nic Hague which resulted in a St. Louis goal. VGK outshot the Blues 22-5 in the third period but on most of the opportunities there was no one in front of the net, as VGK fell 3-2. Who should VGK fans chant an apology to? We took a page out of the New Jersey Devils chanting "Sorry Lindy" Saturday for wanting him fired at the start of the season. Now the Devils are on a tear winning nine straight. Many fan apologies went out to Kelly McCrimmon because he was on the hot seat at the beginning of the season. (Sorry Kelly!!!) And, teams that are in playoff position at the U.S. Thanksgiving typically make the postseason at a 77% clip. VGK is in first place currently, but a team like Calgary, which was the preseason division favorite, would not make the playoffs if that trend is true. Edmonton is on the bubble, another preseason contender.
