Description

Want to know how this IMG matched after a 4 years of trying?
Or maybe how she is pruning herself to begin pediatric cardiology fellowship?
Then listen to this episode.
Here is more about her:
Annie Tedga, MD is a PGY 3 Pediatric Resident in Flint, Michigan and future Pediatric Cardiology Fellow. Born and bred in Cameroon (in Central Africa), she is happily married with a beautiful 8-month-old son. Dr Tedga moved to the US in 2002 and graduated from the University of Maryland (UMBC) with a BS in Biological Sciences. She then matriculated at the American University of the Caribbean in Sint Maarten and later completed her clerkships in the East Coast. She graduated in 2011 and moved back home as a General Practitioner where her interest in Cardiology was birthed. Determined to pursue a career in Pediatrics, she returned to the US in 2015 and matched into residency. She then matched into a Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at Louisiana State University (LSU) where she will be spending the next phase of her career. Dr Tedga is an advocate for breastfeeding and physician wellness, but her favorite past-time is spending time with her son.
You can find her on Instagram @annie_tedga.

The IMG Roadmap is the only podcast dedicated to guiding International Medical Graduates (IMGs) with success blueprints for this unique pathway. This podcast offers practical tools and equips IMGs with applicable strategies to achieve their “US doctor goals”. I do so by bringing information from successful physicians with first hand experience to students who are still in the process of becoming resident physicians.
