Description
You know what I’m very good at? Suggesting. Sometimes uninvited suggestions, because when my people are in something – a crisis, heartache, problem – I think they must be telling me so I can share with them how to get out of it. My heart hurts so much for them that I want nothing more than to push and pull them out if it. But the goal isn’t always to get out. We have to get through. So how can I be better about sitting in it instead of finding ways out? What’s the balance between learning what this season has to offer and navigating to the other side? I think it’s in holding both. The pain or uncertainty of now and the hope of then. I spent some time talking to ANOTHER Instagram friend, Taylor Schumann, who wrote when thoughts and prayers aren’t enough. Her story is unique. But her perspective is unifying. Learning how to come around the hard stuff with soft hearts. Knowing how to ask for help and how to help by simply listening. Taylor Schumann Writes Taylor Schumann Instagram

No One Told Me: Halloween Edition: This special Halloween episode was honestly born out of sitting and talking about stories that make your skin crawl. You know the kind. The ones that make your heart rate pick up just a little bit - or actually your heart is lodged in your throat. by No One Told Me
