Description
Welcome back to The WoMed and sorry for the weather delay last week! Today your host D is speaking with Georgina Villarreal, MSN, RN aka Nurse Georgie. She is the purest definition of “She can do both.” With a double major in Spanish and Community Health, she then jumped into a masters Nursing program! Listen along as we dig into education, travel nursing, and the constant struggle of teaching people that women contain multitudes and we should quit putting people in boxes to define them.
Georgie and I had a really thoughtful conversation on the power of women, “nursepreneurs,” travel, and how to bring more nurses together. She recently made the transition from the bedside to a tech start up geared towards creating an awesome community for nurses.
Your host D (@dmmaltby), continues to share more NDE (Nurse D Energy) moments from listeners, so make sure to DM her @thewomed and share yours! You can follow along with Georgie @nurse.georgie, @shecanbeboth, and @holliblu. Much love to all!
