So much of the focus on VGK lately has been on its offense and the top line scoring at a record pace. But defenseman, Alex Pietrangelo has ten points in the past ten games himself, while keeping the blueliners together with the absence of Alec Martinez. The Golden Knights defensemen have become more offensive this season with 20 goals scored already. Pietrangelo leads VGK with 7 points on the power play with a goal and six assists. As VGK enters tonight's game on a hot streak, the Devils have lost three straight and head coach Lindy Ruff's seat is getting hotter. A few of NJD's key players have been missing due to COVID and we aren't sure on the status of Nico Hischier, Ryan Graves or Christian Jaros as of press time.
