Saturday Down South has reported that the SEC presidents and AD’s are happy to stay at 16 teams once Oklahoma and Texas have joined the conference. They do not plan on further expansion. In reality, it sounds like all options remain on the table BUT they are waiting to see what, if anything, the BIG 10 does next before they react to that. Would the SEC standing pat be great news for the ACC? This likely means Clemson, Florida State, UNC, or Miami would not get poached.
