Roslyn Smith is a 72 year old road runner from Comox, BC who holds Canadian masters records in the 8k (37:44, W70), half marathon (1:39:06, W65) and marathon (3:39:35 W65; 3:52:20 W70). In 2019 she flat-out won her 70-74 age group at the Boston Marathon, beating her running idol Jeannie Rice by over 10 minutes in a true display of the tortoise and the hare tale.
