The Avalanche didn't look awful in the first period, but they still found themselves down 3-0 to the Winnipeg Jets. It took Gabriel Landeskog's first of three goals to get the Avalanche on the board, and once that happened the dam opened up.
The Avalanche would score a six unanswered goals and eventually win 6-3 against the Jets, giving the Avs 80 points on the season. The first team to do so this year.
