The Avalanche trotted out a handful of their up and coming prospects to face a Vegas Golden Knights team that was playing their second preseason game, and thus, more predominant players. But the rookies held their own and held a 3rd period lead that they gave away in a 4-3 loss. Some things to work on (0-7 on the PP) but a lot of good things to take away from a hard fought loss.
