It wasn't all pretty, but it wasn't all ugly either. Maybe the Washington Capitals were the right team at the right time for the Colorado Avalanche to square off against to end their four game losing streak, which they did with a 6-3 victory in the nation's Capital.

Artturi Lehkonen led the way with a 2 goal, 2 assist night including one beautiful between the legs set up for Mikko Rantanen. In fact, the Avs got point productions up and down the forward lines in this one. Something that has been lacking as of late.

But problems still persist including some defensive lapses and clearing problems.
