Cale Makar's breakaway goal sealed the deal for the Colorado Avalanche as the Avs skated to a 5-2 win over Quinn Hughes and the Vancouver Canucks.

A horribly officiated 2nd period could have had us talking about all the "what ifs" that could have resulted in an absurd five minute major and game misconduct call against Josh Manson had caused the Avs to squander this game. Luckily, that did not happen.
