The Colorado Avalanche might be sitting in a good spot in the standings, but that doesn't mean everything is going according to plan. Especially when you lose to one of the worst teams in the league, the Chicago Blackhawks.

We've seen this over and over again this year with the Avs. Good games followed by bad games followed by good games and on and on and on.

But to not be able to turn up the dial when needed against a team you should be blowing out of the building leaves zero excuses.

Some teams would take a loss like this and let it define them. Let's hope the Avalanche take a loss like this and let it enrage them.
