The big trade fish is off the market.

The Calgary Flames traded Elias Lindholm to the Vancouver Canucks late Wednesday evening and boy was it a lot for a potential rental. Andrei Kuzmenko, two prospects, a first and fourth round picks in the 2024 draft go to Calgary and the talented forward goes to Vancouver to make that team even more dangerous if Lindholm can get back on track.

For the Colorado Avalanche, that haul was something they likely were not going anywhere near. We discuss why.
