We had the Vancouver Canucks vs Colorado Avalanche circled on our calendars for some time now. But we didn't plan for what happened the day before in Minnesota.

The Canucks allowed the Minnesota Wild to score seven goals in the 3rd period, ending with a Wild 10-7 win. Now, not only does Vancouver come to Denver one day later, but they are also losers of their last two games. We knew the Avalanche would have to be up and ready to face the Canucks, now they REALLY have to be up and ready.
