A lot was supposed to happen this past weekend. None of it did. Jared Bednar was supposed to be the holder of the most games coached in franchise history. The Avalanche were supposed to (possibly) clinch a playoff spot. But due to a third player testing positive for COVID, the NHL shut the Avs season down for the second time. If all goes well (and so far it is) the Avalanche will resume play on 4/22. So let's set our sights on that.
