Katherine Hamilton is the Chair and cofounder of 38 North Solutions, a public policy firm focused on clean energy solutions. Hamilton is also a host of the podcast The Energy Gang, a weekly show about energy, green tech and the environment. Hamilton talks about the future of green technology, and current trends in environmental and energy legislation. Hamilton was born in Richmond, and raised in Lynchburg, VA. She studied English at Cornell University, and French Civilization at Paris-Sorbonne University. Hamilton worked as an engineer, then as a commercial energy auditor for Dominion Virginia Power. She then Served as President of GridWise Alliance, a non-profit business coalition. She is a former Policy Director for the Energy Storage Association. She cofounded 38 North Solutions in 2012. “Don’t try to just be a lobbyist right away.
