Effect on Emotions
Mindfulness has helped me reach a more level situation, to avoid the extremes and to get on top of extremes when they come.

Thoughts on Breathing
I don't enjoy very controlled breathing. I enjoy watching what my breath does, and being with that rather than jumping on top of what it's doing.

Bullying Story
I was bullied at school a lot because I was so different. Also, I increasing think I was quite unkind to a lot of other people at school as well. It's so easy to recognize your own victimhood without think of the wider impact of that. I was really unkind to some girls at school.

I would never see myself as a bully. I would see myself as very anti-bullying and as bullied, but when I look back I think, how must they have perceived my behaviour?

Mindfulness would have helped. I would have had a sense of my own behaviour, better handling how I was behaving.
