In this podcast, Dr. Berg talks about research studies and their dirty little secrets. There are several really big problems in the area of research.
1. Industry-sponsored studies always seem to be positive.
- They had the option to publish what they wanted, omit studies that didn’t come out that good or certain studies that gave side effects to make it look really good.
- US Department of Health New Rule in 2005 – Register all their data.
