When it comes to COVID-19, should you focus on fixing your diet or getting more nutrients as a preventive action? Is fixing the diet or getting certain nutrients a better preventative for COVID-19? Find out.
By fixing the diet, I'm talking about:
1. Doing a low carb diet (keto diet)
2. Doing intermittent fasting
The nutrients:
1. Zinc
2. Vitamin D
3. Vitamin C
COVID-19 risk factors:
• High blood pressure
• Obesity
• Diabetes
• Cardiovascular disease
The COVID-19 risk factors above are metabolic problems. Metabolic problems have something in common: insulin resistance. Metabolic problems weaken the immune system. So, a weak immune system is a symptom of metabolic problems, and metabolic problems can be a symptom of insulin resistance.
