On Monday, April 17, Kathrine will once again run the 26.2 miles from Hopkinton, MA, to Boston to commemorate the 50th anniversary of her historic feat. In this interview recorded in March, Kathrine recounts nearly being pulled off the race course in 1967, when the race director realized she was a female.
