Unknown Hebrew
I write under the name Unknown Hebrew as a devoted member of the Fourth Tribe of Israel, walking daily in faith and obedience to YAHUAH. My journey began within Christian doctrine, but a thirst for deeper truth led me back to the foundation of it all—the Hebrew Israelites. That spiritual homecoming rekindled my purpose: to study, to write, and to live by the ancient paths YAHUAH established for His chosen people. The name Unknown Hebrew reflects my core belief—to turn all attention away from myself and toward the glory of YAHUAH, our ELOHIM. Everything I create is for His purpose: to study and show ourselves approved, to walk in the ways of the Order of Melchizedek, to spread the gospel to Israelites scattered across the earth, and to await with faith the return of our King and High Priest, YAHUSHUA.

Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement A Goat Named Azazel - Unknown Hebrew
INTRODUCTION
––––––––
On the Day of Atonement when the Sun is set, we are to fast, no food, no work, no water until the Sun sets the next day. That day is a High Holy Day and it is a Shabbat: we will be examining this in more detail; however, the critical issue to remember is that it is an essential High Holy Day of the year. Now, a lot of emphases is placed on Passover, but this particular time is very important; again, it is a time that we refrain from food, drink, and any work.
Although, the book is more about the Atonement of Israel; it does unpack a deeper understanding of the scapegoat. The two male goats are sacrificed by the priest in what would become known as the Day of Atonement in Leviticus 16. ELOHIM lays down some very specific instructions for Moses to tell Aaron that these two goats are to be marked as one to be sacrificed to Him and one to be used as a scapegoat. The first goat is sacrificed to ELOHIM; the second is to be kept alive and brought before him where Aaron is instructed to place his hand on the head of the goat and transfer all the sins of the Israelites by a confession, but first, why would the goat become known as the scapegoat? The goat would be taken to a remote place with all of their sins embodied within itself and be released into the wilderness of the desert. Now, the word, Azazel does not appear at all, however if you look at Leviticus 16:8, it reads, And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for ELOHIM, and the other lot for the scapegoat.
by this, it means to show us that Azazel is another entity, one who is considered to be the polar opposite of the biblical ELOHIM possibly even an evil entity; hence why he is the one receiving the scapegoat with all the sin imbued with it.
Moving ahead, this is a very complex topic; for that matter, salvation itself is equally as intricate; there are so many layers. Many people think YAHUSHUA came, died, and that was it; if you believe in Him; you will be saved. However, it is not like that; there are many different layers to it. We are going to look at an overview because of the complexity; we are looking at and highlighting a portion of the Day of Atonement which is dealing with the scapegoat. For example, think about a clock. When you look at the face of a clock, you see the hands move and time is being recorded; however, you do not know all of the parts; the moving parts; you do not know all of the players; what is happening behind the scenes. You do not know the inner workings of it; there are a lot of components; a lot of tiny parts, so small you might have to have a magnifying glass to see them.
When we talk about the Day of Atonement you will be able to identify a few things, however, we have a few nuggets that we would like to share with you; some interesting things to stimulate your appetite a bit and cause you to go into the word; cause you to see perhaps things you did not see before. Now we are not doing justice by saying that, so we will call it a teaser. So, let us return to our clock analogy. When the clockmaker is making a clock, there is a part of the clock that provides balance. It needs balance so it can operate; there is a balance wheel. Screws, springs, and lever; all these small parts that you are not thinking about when looking at the clock; all of this is happening behind the scenes.
You have countermeasures; counterbalance; something to offset when it is restoring something that is displaced. Now, what does all this have to do with Atonement? Well, let us first ask the question; what does Atonement mean?
CHAPTER 1
ATONEMENT
––––––––
Many will say Atonement is for sin. That leads us to another question; what is sin? Sin is the transgressing of the law. Now, when ELOHIM made everything, He said it was good; however, something disrupted that good; something else was a counter to that; to bring a type of balance. You have time that is happening; movement in the universe; something is going on, but you do not see behind the scenes; there is a lot of action. Spiritual things are happening behind the scenes; we are looking at it all for face value; not appreciating the hard work that goes on behind the scenes. We do not comprehend, but in Christianity, we are thinking, this is something simple; we are looking at face value; we do not understand it all. The little details that happen in the heavens; we can not see those things; there are so many moving parts; they count even if you do not see them.
Let us go to the book of Leviticus 16:1;
