    No one taught me the truth about happiness;

    It is only temporary.

    This too shall pass

    Who knew all of this happiness was just a disorder?

    Why does my face look completely different every day?

    For someone like me, happiness is only temporary

    As if a glimmer of hope was ripped away in an instant

    When I’m dejected, everyone becomes distant

    Thoughts of harm, perplexingly persistent

    I’m fine, I say, with a smile, inconsistent.

    I want to die, a voice whispers, insistent.

    I’m fine

    I want to die

    An everlasting cycle

    When does it end?

    I long for a day of understanding

    For now, I find strength in the pain

    I wait for a time when my emotions sustain.

    Chapter 1: Labyrinth of my mind
