My Poetry - Keith Mabery
Birth Poem
When a baby comes into this world
Either boy or girl
It brings tears to family members
Being cut from the umbilical cord
And being brought into this world
Because of man's sperm
Now the baby has to grow
You treat the seed with care
Be happy with your seed
My seed looks just like me
Babies need attention
And babies need a pamper change
And babies need bottles
And need to go to the doctor when they are
In pain
Babies as they grow need an education
Some have mentally retarded issues
Some have to go through mental health
The crack babies that cry in the middle of the night
Need attention
It is not their fault crack is in their system
It's the parents
Little babies are so cute when they come out
Feed them Gerber baby food
Inside their mouth
As the babies grow they get familiar with their surroundings
Comfort your baby when he or she is sad
Single parent mothers, I know it's hard on you
But keep on praying and be strong
God has his hand on all children
Because they are his
My daughter, I love but never got to see her grow as a kid
Kids bring joy into adults life
If I get married I'm having 3 more kids
With my new wife
It excites me to see kids happy
I wish I was around to be a daddy
The 9 months of pregnancy a baby mama has
I could see why she has reasons to spaz
I hope to unite with my daughter someday
That’s why every day I pray
I hope she was fed knowledge in school
My daughter is pretty
So I know she has lots of friends
And was cool
Life
Life could be so painful
At the same time joyful
Going through poverty
And praying
To make it out
Going to church
To see what Jesus
Is about
I stay on my grind
With a lot on my mind
People don't rush
God has our time
I know in reality
I'm blessed
I never downgrade a person
Cause of the pain
We have in the flesh
All of the killings
And penitentiaries
Filled with blacks
Brothers dealing drugs
And young ladies
Selling their bodies
Sympathy they lack
My mother Raised me
Not to treat a lady bad
To see a lady get beat
Is so sad
Domestic violence
Is hate on the female's
I hope to make it to heaven
Someday
Satan's where we fail
Life can be complicated
Life can be overrated
I don't have hate for people
But the people
They hate
Before a meal, I eat
To the dear lord
I say grace
The Lord put us
In this place for a reason
Babies killing babies
In the street
Just to get even
Life without God
Is never simple
I love life
Like my family
All the things I been through
My daughter poem
You are the most important
Person in my life
I love you
With all my heart
You special
You my seed
My blood type
You love your daddy
I love you back
I'm so sorry baby doll
I didn't stay in your life
And have your back
I will give you the lifestyle
That you want
Anything that you need
To let our love proceed
I love you
My child
I love to see you smile
I haven't seen you in a wild
I know to you that's foul
Love for you is unconditional
I love your pretty face
You beautiful
Inside and out
And you are smart no doubt
You got the features
Of your daddy
I cross my fingers
And hope to die
Never again to leave you sadly
My flesh is your flesh
My home is your home
When I see you again
I'll never be alone
You are very articulate
And have the ways of daddy
The world knows
I was never there for you
But now
