Applestarr the apple, bouncy and bright, Woke with the sunshine, a merry little sight. His skin flushed with red, like a juicy delight, He wiggled his stalk legs, ready to take flight.
His backpack he filled with a healthy treat, A slice of his namesake, oh so sweet! For Applestarr knew, from his head to his feet, Fruits and veggies were yummy to eat.
He bounced through the garden, a smile on his face, Greeting the ladybug, buzzing with grace. The grasshopper chirped, with a hop and a skip, Applestarr, my friend, come share a quick trip!
They played hide-and-seek 'tween the flower so tall, Then raced with the butterflies, answering their call. Applestarr, though round, never felt left behind, For friendship and laughter, he quickly did find.
Through the vegetable patch, they rolled with such glee, Tomatoes and carrots, a delicious spree! Applestarr shared his apple, a treat for all, Fruits and veggies together, a yummy fruit ball.
As the sun dipped low, painting the sky pink, Applestarr snuggled in, not a single thought to think. Just a day filled with fun, and friends by his side, And the knowledge that fruits keep him happy inside.
So next time you see an apple, so round and so red, Remember Applestarr, the friend you just read. Grab a juicy piece, take a crunchy bite, Fruits and veggies give you energy, with all their might!
Applestarrs hunt for springtime
Applestarr, a bright red apple with enormous, curious eyes, bobbed excitedly in the garden. He wasn't your ordinary apple, though. No, Applestarr wasn't meant for pies or lunchboxes. He was a photographer, and his bulbous red body wasn't just for show, it was his camera! Atop his head sat a shiny flashgun, ready to capture every giggle and flutter of the garden.
Today, Applestarr was on the hunt for the perfect springtime picture. He scooted down the sunflower stalk, his little green stalk legs tickling the fuzzy petals. Suddenly, a flurry of bushy brown fur shot past him! Mr. Nibbles, the garden squirrel, was hot on his tail, or rather, his stem!
Gotcha!
Mr. Nibbles squeaked, lunging for Applestarr.
Applestarr yelped, Wait, Mr. Nibbles! Not today! I'm on a photo mission!
Mr. Nibbles skidded to a halt, a bushy nut tucked in his cheek. A photo mission, eh? What are you looking for?
