About this ebook
Here are poems about "untranslatable" words, non-English words that have no direct translation. I have enjoyed gathering words from many cultures around the world to inspire my poetry. Let me know if you find new words that could become poems!

I really am working on the next books! The Trees Were Spinning is out now, and DRWN Trilogy book 1 will be coming next year. Writing is real work! Almost done with book 1, and then the editing begins...

This is a book of poems based on untranslatable
words — foreign words that have no direct single word meaning in English. Most often I have used the words in the title, but sometimes they are part of the poem itself. Some of the words I cannot pronounce, but they are pleasing to read anyways. I have given the meaning to most of the words, though a few are understood well enough from the reading.
Serendipity is an English word first coined by a Horace Walpole (poor chap shares a first name with my maternal grandfather) in a letter to another Horace dated January 28, 1754. It
