A TRANS WAY TO GO

Retired detective Kendra O’Connor shivered as she sat down on the oddly cool brown wooden chair in the brand-new hippy coffee shop that her best friends in the entire world had recommended for their meeting today. She wasn’t exactly a massive fan of the place, and everything was just odd about it.

Kendra normally didn’t mind beautifully modern cafes with massive floor-to-ceiling windows that allowed her to people-watch. Even now she could see three young families wrapped up in thick black coats preparing to cross the wide London street outside. There were black cabs driving up and down, white mason houses lining the road with Halloween decorations outside and even a very ambitious red double-decker bus was preparing to drive down the road. Kendra had no idea if the bus was going to be able to drive down the road, even with it being so wide but it was great to see that London was as busy as always.

She didn’t have a single problem with those windows and people watching. She loved watching other people.
