This novel is entirely a work of fiction. The names, characters, and incidents portrayed in it are the work of the author’s imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, events or localities is entirely coincidental.

You’re holding onto this book, right? But it’s more than just pages and ink—it’s like you’re cradling a container for feelings, a vault of words that dive deep into the core of what makes us human.

I want to spill the beans about what’s waiting for you within these pages. Trust me, this isn’t your average fiction tale. Nope, it’s more like a woven masterpiece, with threads of feelings and ideas that bind us all, like some cosmic thread of connection.

Those words on these pages? They’re not just random scribbles. They’re like pieces of our collective human puzzle. They’re those quiet sighs that slip out when life’s twists hit us hard. They’re the battle cries that rise up when we’re faced with a challenge that’s bigger than us.

Now, have you ever had that tugging sensation in your chest when love blooms in the most unexpected places? Do you know that bittersweet flavor of nostalgia that dances on your taste buds when memories come flooding back? And have you ever walked in the shoes of characters in a story, feeling like you’ve met them somewhere in real life?

Trust me, within these pages, you’ll stumble upon moments that’ll make you go, Oh yeah, I’ve been there. Moments that’ve been hiding inside you, maybe unnoticed till now. But here’s a little heads-up: don’t let these moments hijack your feelings entirely.

Now you know why I named this book I’M ONLY HUMAN

    DON’T LET ME LIVE AGAIN!

    Dear Diary;

To whom shall I tell my story,

Not even my wounds are aware of my pain.

Dang! You ever think about hell? I mean, sure, it's that place folks talk about heading to after they kick the bucket, but have you ever felt like you're living in your own personal hell while still very much alive? Has that ever been your life story? If you've dodged that bullet, you're seriously fortunate. Me? I've tagged my own life as a living hell. I know, pretty heavy stuff, right?

You know how people say you don't get things handed to you on a silver platter, and everything's tied to luck in some way? Well, here's the kicker – time's just not on their side, and as for me, luck hasn't been either.

Calling life a constant joyride? Yeah, that's something I'd slap with the 'impossible' label. Now, don't get me wrong, choosing happiness is totally up to us. But if you're under the impression that happiness is just a cakewalk, let me stop you right there – it's a bit more intricate than that. Feeling that warm and fuzzy happiness? Trust me, it's no walk in the park. It's like a full-on battle to keep that grin going.

And you know what? I'm willing to bet that a solid chunk of you are nodding along with me on this one.

What getting tied with trouble is,

    What suffering with pain is,

What breaking down into pieces is,

    What drowning into darkness is,

    What befriending with sadness is,

    Time shall soon tell.

I'm not exactly riding the happiness train right now. Heck, I'm not even chilling in the peace zone, and it looks like I'm not the only one. Just take a gander out the window – you won't spot a single soul just kicking back. It's like everyone's caught up in this wild race, but truth be told, it's a race to nowhere. Yeah, you heard me right – a race that's pretty darn pointless, a rat race with no real prize if you ask me.

The whole deal of what people are up to, why they're up to it, and how they're going about it – the farther you can distance yourself from that chaos, the more you'll find yourself kicking it in the happy and peaceful lane.

Peace, now that's a word that often feels like it's trapped in some fantasy land, right there in the pages of a dictionary. Let me throw you a curveball – think about this: nations duking it out in wars, and if these countries are locked in conflict, can we even dream that their people are sitting on clouds of peace? Seriously, give it a good think. And if you're shaking your head at what I'm saying, give it another think, and then another, until you can jive with my point.

Now, if I were to slap a definition on peace and happiness, here's my take: it's when we're not at odds with ourselves, anyone, or anything. That's when those good vibes roll in. Personally, I'm not in a battle against anyone or anything. Not a soul. So, what happened to my missing happiness? Where did that peace I yearn for go? Oh yeah, now I remember – I seemed to have lost it somewhere back in time, years ago.

    The pain behind the laughter,

    The love behind anger

And the urge to be silent,

    No one understands.

From living through my 23 years on this planet, I've kind of a figured out three major keys to unlocking a life that's both successful and full of smiles. First up, it's all about wrapping your head around stuff – understanding things for what they really are. Next, it's about embracing life as it comes, no sugarcoating or resistance. And last but definitely not least, the big kahuna, is rule number three: keep on moving forward.

See, that last one's the real game-changer because let's be honest, life's a wild ride with ups, downs, and loops that never end. You're best off not getting stuck on any one thing, and definitely not banging your noggin against stuff you're clueless about. Funny thing though, even though these rules make a ton of sense, I'll admit I never mustered up the guts to really put them into practice.

This right here is our main hitch – we tend to dive into stuff without knowing the full picture. You could call it showing up uninvited, like that party crasher who's out of the loop. So, let me ask you this straight up – do you enjoy being that unwanted guest? Take a sec and ask yourself if you've ever been that person, because let's be real, we all have been at some point. No denying it.

And don't even think about telling me I'm off base here, because trust me, I've got this spot-on. We all end up barging into someone else's scene, poking our noses where they don't belong. It's like a logical truth I'm laying out here. Now, me? Yeah, I'm guilty of being an unwanted guest too, but there's a twist. You see, you're crashing in on someone else's party, while I'm more like that tagalong at my own bash. Life didn't exactly send me an invite, but I'm sticking around because I know things will eventually shift.

Oh, those who have fragile hearts, life is the most daring with them.

Happiness and I aren't exactly on friendly terms. Now, don't get me wrong – it's not like I'm giving the cold shoulder to joy because I'm a fan of pain or anything. Nah, the deal is, happiness kind of met its end years back, alongside someone dear to me. Her departure took my happiness with it.

You might be thinking, Oh, this person's probably had a rough romantic ride, but that's not exactly the case. It's a bit amusing to ponder, isn't it? But let me set the record straight – not everyone's hauling around
