Reviews for In The Last Days

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book has settled so much confusion for me. With all that is going on in this world today, we would be fools not to realize that the last days are coming soon. It has been written in the Bible since God created the world. I always tried to avoid speaking about what will happen basically out of fear. Fear of knowing that not all of us will be taken. This book is so well written and so easy to comprehend. I applaud Ivonne for sharing her knowledge with us. I urge everyone to buy this book. It is short and an easy read. I would lend mine out but I am going to read it when my husband is done. God has blessed you Ivonne and in doing so, he has blessed me too. Kay Blount

Preface
I thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for helping me write something that has never been on my radar. I thank Him for helping me overcome domestic violence, survive cancer, and a host of other obstacles. He isn’t finished with me yet. Praise be the name of the Lord! #Psalm100
Introduction
There are different viewpoints about the exact timeline or sequence of events for the end-times. There are those who believe in the pretribulation Rapture of believers/followers of Jesus Christ—meaning that the Rapture of the church will take place before any of the seven years of tribulation. There are those who believe in midtribulation—meaning that the Rapture will take place midway through the tribulation, which will be at the end of the first three and a half years. And there are those who believe in post-tribulation—meaning the Rapture will take place at the end of the seven years of tribulation.
The church of true believers is the bride of Christ.
We can read about this in Matthew 25:1–13, Revelation 19:7–8, and Revelation 21:1–2. It is the belief and viewpoint of this author that the Rapture of the church (those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior) comes before the tribulation.
The Rapture will take place just like a thief comes in the night. Jesus will come for His valuables. The tribulation will be a hard, dark time. It will get worse as time passes. The Lord is the groom of the church. Think of a bride and all she does to prepare for her wedding. A bride plans and purposefully dresses for the occasion. In doing so, the bride wants to look her best for the groom. It is an anticipated time to remember. I can’t recall a groom ever dragging his bride through the mud, so to speak, before such an important event. What bride has ever stood at the altar
