About this ebook

Candles, as instruments of illumination with esoteric and ritual significance, have made a comeback in recent years to regain the meaning they once had. The lighting of a candle is a ritual that combines traditions that speak of spells from the tenderness of a night by candlelight, to a simple bath under the relaxing effect of the special light of candles. Candle flames radiate mystical powers, and for centuries, magicians, soothsayers, and soothsayers have used them as suitable space tools for their spells or to make predictions.

Everything is in the palm of your hands, in them your past, present and future are hidden. The ancient art of interpreting hand symbols is known as palmistry and has been present in our civilization since ancient times. Palmistry has been essential in several cultures and has defined the destiny of many. The hands have symbolized strength and power and are a miniature representation of man's destiny.

    Introduction. Palmistry.

Palmistry is the art of analyzing and predicting the future by studying the palms of the hands. It is practice all over the world, but with variations according to the culture of the country. Those who practice palmistry are called chiromantic, palm readers, or hand analysts.

The art of interpreting the hidden meaning of wrinkles, lines and mountains in the hand has been discovered millions of years ago. In the old days, most people did not know their exact date and time of birth and therefore, palm reading, or palmistry was seen as the only means of divination.

The art of palmistry dates to the Stone Age. Images of human hands are found in cave drawings, showing their special interest in this part of the body. These paintings can be seen in caves in France, Spain, and Africa.

Palmistry can trace its roots to the Ancient Greece of Aristotle who discovered a treatise about palmistry on an altar to the god Hermes, which he then introduced to Alexander the Great, who took great interest in examining the character of his officials by analyzing the lines in his hands.

Aristotle claimed that lines are not written on man's hand for no reason. They emanate from astral influences and man's own individuality. Consequently, Aristotle, Hippocrates, and Alexander the Great popularized the practice of palmistry. Hippocrates used palmistry in his clinical procedures.

From Greece, knowledge of palmistry spread to India, Tibet, China, Persia, Egypt, and other European countries. Studies show that older communities such as the Sumerians, Tibetans, Hebrews, Babylonians, Egyptians, and Persians were interested in the study and practice of palmistry. Others claim that the art of Palmistry began in India.

Modern palmistry combines prediction techniques with psychology, holistic healing, as well as alternative methods of divination.

The art of palm reading involves the practice of evaluating a person's character, or their future life, by reading the palm of that person's hand. A reader usually begins with the dominant hand, the hand that the person writes or uses the most, since it is the conscious mind, while the other part is the manifestation of the unconscious.

In some palmistry traditions, hands are believed to have hereditary or familial traits, or, depending on the chi romantic’s cosmological beliefs, that they can convey information about life's past or karmic conditions.

The basic framework for palmistry has its roots in Greek mythology. Each area of the palm and fingers is related to a god or goddess, and the characteristics of the area show the nature of the corresponding aspects. For example, the ring finger is associated with the Greek god Apollo, the characteristics of the ring finger are linked to art, music, aesthetics, fame, wealth, and harmony.

The three lines found in almost every hand, and which are generally given more importance are:  The Heart Line which is the first of the most significant lines examined by a reader. It is found on the top of the palm of the hand, under the fingers.

In some traditions, the Line reads from the edge of the palm of the hand on the little finger and flows through the palm of the hand to the thumb, in others, it is seen as a starting point on the fingers and flowing to the outer edge of the palm of the hand.

Chiromantic interpret this Line to discuss matters of the heart, both physical and metaphorical, and it can show emotional stability, romantic outlook, depression, and stoicism, in addition to various aspects of heart health, for example, the Chained Heart Line is a sign of heart problems.

The next Line found by chiromantic is the Headline. This line starts at the edge of the palm of the hand with the index finger and flows through the palm to the outer edge. Often, the Headline joins the Lifeline. Chiromantic interpret this Line to analyze the person's mind and the way it functions, including learning style, communication style, intellectualism, and their pursuit of knowledge.

Finally, hand readers look for perhaps the most controversial Line in hand, the Line of Life. This line extends from the edge of the palm of the hand above the thumb and travels in an arc towards the wrist. This Line is believed to be a person's vitality, physical health, and general well-being.

The Lifeline is also believed to reflect major changes in your life, including catastrophic events, and physical injuries. Contrary to popular belief, modern palmistry generally does not believe that the length of a person's lifeline is linked to the length of a person's life.

There is another Line called the Line of Destiny that extends from the bottom of the palm near the wrist, through the center of the palm to the middle finger. This Line is linked to the person's life trajectory, including choice of schools and profession, successes, and obstacles. Sometimes this Line is considered to reflect circumstances beyond the person's control, or, alternatively, the person's choices and their consequences.

There are other lines of less importance: the Line of the Sun that is parallel to the Line of Destiny, on the ring finger, and is believed to show fame or infamy. The Belt of Venus that begins between the pinky and ring fingers, joins in an arc on the ring and middle fingers to end between the middle and pointer fingers, and is thought to relate to emotional intelligence and the ability to manipulate.

The Apollo Line which means to have a happy life, and travels from the Moon Mount on the wrist that comes down from Apollo's finger. The Sinister Line that crosses the Lifeline and if it forms an 'X', is of very bad signal. In general, readers of the palms try not to mention this Line because of the concern it may cause in the person being read.

    The Language of Hands

When you want to discover the personality of someone you have just met, you should look at their hands. You may have done it before without realizing it. The way people use and move their hands can give you a lot of information about their personality.

Hands reveal more information about a person than their face, especially when it comes to first impressions. We can change our facial expressions; makeup can also change the way people look and many people have had plastic surgeries. The hands, however, have their own language, which is difficult to manipulate.

Analyze how we use our hands to express feelings. Moving the fingers shows impatience, the fists are synonymous with anger and anger, using the index finger to point symbolizes aggression or accusation, and the rubbing of the hands, affection, and satisfaction.

In business, the handshake is decisive, if it is firm, we interpret it as a positive sign, on the other hand, if it is weak, we take it as a gesture of indecision, which shows an unstable nature. However, remember that a firm handshake can be artificial and fictitious.

There are other, more subtle ways to find out what the other person is thinking. If you're discussing a financial issue with someone else and notice that the person's thumbs are looking inward, in the palm of their hand this indicates that they're not exhibiting their angry feelings, and that they may want to cover them up.

A more positive sign is rubbing your fingertips, specifically your thumb, against your pinky, something that happens when you try to generate several ideas at once.

Rotating a ring around the finger shows difficult and complex ideas. If the ring is on the middle finger, it shows that money problems are not manifesting clearly. Hand gestures can also be used to insult. In several countries, it is considered unpleasant to show the raised index finger. Fingers that wear a ring also manifest information. In ancient paintings, famous people usually wore a ring on the index finger, which symbolizes power and greed.

    Open and Closed Hands

When we see the hands resting on a flat surface, it is curious if you look at the way they are placed. Some people naturally let their fingers spread apart and this gesture teaches that their personality is sincere and that they are comfortable with reading from their hands. If the person keeps his fingers together spontaneously, it means that he feels rejection towards divination.

When the hands are open, spaces are created between the fingers, right at birth, where they meet with the palm of the hand. You will be able to see these gaps more easily if the fingers are attached and the hand is oriented towards a light. This means that the person is not only sincere, but also charitable, sociable, sympathetic, and receptive to new ideas and experiences.

If the fingers recline back naturally from the palm without exerting pressure, the peculiarities will be emphasized, and the person will manifest adaptation. If, on the other hand, there are no spaces between the fingers, it is possible that the person chooses to hold on to what he has, in all senses of life.

When a hand is closed, if the fingers do not give way when pressure is practiced on them from the palm, but are twisted forward, it shows that the temperament of this person is insincere and sociable and that he does not want to get entangled in new learning. The inflexibility of the fingers shows a tendency to resist change and a desire to stubbornly to things, traditions, and familiars.

    The length of the Hand

The size of the hands is revealing. The longer hands belong to people who specialize in some complicated activity that must be done with the hands, such as, for example, a plastic or orthopedic surgeon.

    KeyMouse® - KeyMouse Blog - KeyMouse Alpha 104 with 4 Hand Sizes

People with small hands do not usually dedicate themselves to these tasks and tend to use them in situations that must be undertaken intuitively and quickly. The natural restlessness, nervousness, and anxiety of people with small hands is enhanced if their fingers are short, the nails are also short, and in these cases the lack of patience could become a complicated problem.

Small hands usually belong to suitable, specialized, and knowledgeable people in organizing events on a larger scale. They are entrepreneurial, attentive, hardworking, and successful and, in addition, they have the ability to be leaders. Small hands are very pleasant to the touch, but large hands are usually cold.

In a way this can be seen as a manifestation of two temperaments. Small, clean hands of people show great dexterity in many activities and the ability for good coordination. Usually, people who have broad hands need to feel physically free, and those who have smaller, narrower palms are happy with immobile lifestyles and are specialists in bureaucratic jobs.

    Right and Left Hands

Are you right-handed or left-handed? This is the first question you should always ask when examining someone's hands, as each of them has a totally different meaning. It is possible that they are different physically, not only the lines of the palm, but also the shape of the fingers. However, this is not always the case, as many people have both hands almost equal.

Some people are ambidextrous, if this were the case, you should consider the hand you use to write as the right. The left-hand evidence personality, inclinations, and past and present events. The right reveals how personality has changed over time, or if it is about to do so, and shows future events.

When you are analyzing the hands of a left-handed person, you should look at the right as the basic one, the one that reflects past and present events, and the left as the one connected to the future.

    The Shape of the Hands

There are five basic forms of hands and each of them reveals something significant about a person's character. It's super simple to evaluate the shape of your hands from a distance, so once you've understood their meaning, you'll realize that you can observe anyone's hands.

When you have contemplated and studied several hands, you will realize that some obviously belong to a specific category and that others are a mixture of several. An example would be a hand with a square palm and fingers in a conical shape.

The fingers are different, occasionally, on the same hand. If there is none like it, this shows versatility, and it is very difficult to describe the character of that person. When looking at the shape of a person's hands and fingers, you need to take age into account. The hands of an old person tend to become deformed due to arthritic or rheumatic problems, in addition to being stiffer, calloused and less flexible.

    The Philosophical or Psychic Hand

Sensations: IS THERE ART IN THE HANDS?

This type of hand is the least common. It is elongated, bony, angular and with marked knots. Its bearers usually have an interest in occult subjects, theology, or in areas that require analytical thoughts. They are difficult people to understand and with tendencies to be withdrawn.

If the joints of the fingers are very gnarled, methodical thinking is emphasized. Traditionally, this long, thin hand has been favored by artists and sculptors for its beauty. However, some consider it unfortunate as it suggests lack of physical and emotional energy, and tendency towards depression, and anxiety. Those who have this hand find it difficult to see the more subtle side of life and are often pessimistic in their thoughts. They may suffer from low self-esteem and need encouragement from those around them to succeed.
