The beautiful multi-coloured rainbow is a symbol of hope in so many cultures, including our own. It’s the image that’s been adopted by Gay Pride, where it stands for inclusion and diversity, and it’s also been linked to the NHS during the pandemic – the rainbow symbolises both our gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses risking their own lives to save ours, and our hope that the pandemic will soon be over.
