Chapter 2

Birth of Jaime and Junno.

On that day in August, two children were born, filling their parents with joy. They were twins, two little boys with blond hair, similar to their father's. Their eyes, a mixture of blue and green, stood out against their white skin, emanating a remarkable beauty. They were the most adorable children anyone could have seen. Both belonged to the omega gender, but that didn't diminish their parents' love for them. During that time, the boys' father had a good job in a respectable company. However, times got tough for the family. They lived in Korea but were forced to leave because their parents didn't accept the alpha son's relationship with an omega from a different social class.

Boys' Grandfather (shouting):

I will disinherit you unless you get rid of this omega, this 'low class.' In return, I will give you leadership in my companies. Otherwise, you won't see a penny of my money!

Boys' Father:

Father, he's pregnant! You can't do this, and they're your grandchildren!

Boys' Grandfather:

I will take care of the boys, but you have to get rid of this omega!

We already have a marriage planned for you. You know Uritay is the best for you!

Boys' Father:

I won't leave my partner and my children. I love him, Father!

The boys' father's family is rich and strict. They follow a pattern that demands marriages only with omegas from high class and good families. Lower-class omegas don't fit the standard of Korea's most successful family. Ruang breaks this rule because he believes that love is more important than money, status, and prestige. He doesn't care about the loss of his social position because the love he feels for his partner, Xume, is more important than anything else. Ruang and Xume fell deeply in love with each other.

Narrator: One night, while Ruang was out with Xume, he noticed something strange. The scent of Xume's pheromone was strong, indicating that he was in heat. That night, during their love as alpha and omega, they bonded, and Ruang marked Xume, who became pregnant with their two children. Xume fell in love with Ruang as soon as he met him; his heart knew that Ruang was his destined one.

Ruang's father rejected him upon discovering that he had married a lower-class omega. He made Ruang and his family leave the country. His father kindly paid for their tickets. They left Korea without looking back, taking with them the pregnant omega, expecting their two children, Junno and Jaime.

Their destiny was to live in New York. Since they had no means of support, the boys' father became a fisherman.

However, when he tried to find a job, he was rejected by companies that feared retaliation from his father. The companies refused to hire him out of fear of being harmed in some way. Initially, everything seemed to be going well as he caught fish and seafood and sold it in the market. Meanwhile, Xume made wedding cakes, fulfilling his dream of becoming a great pastry chef, which contributed to the family's income.

The two boys were eight years old and would often argue. The parents did their best to ensure that they had a good relationship.

Junno: Jaime, climb that tree to help me get that kite stuck on the branch.

(Jaime puts his foot on the ladder)

Junno: Ah, I'm sorry, you got hurt too. You shouldn't have used the ladder. If you tell Mom and Dad, I'll never be your brother again!

Jaime: I won't tell Dad or Mom anything. I don't want to worry them. I'll take care of the cut on my head so they won't notice.

The dynamic of fighting between the two continued, but one day, when they found out they were both omegas, Junno became furious.

At eighteen years old, Junno continued to misbehave. He would come home at any hour without giving explanations. In contrast, Jaime was working at that moment.

Junno was at a nightclub where he met an attractive alpha. He took him to a motel and they agreed on financial terms. This was his routine: selling his heat, his body, for money or material goods. He always told his parents that he was working at a place that paid him very well for his services.

The parents believed in his words, even when Junno had been trouble since childhood. He would come home from school with fight wounds and would even steal school supplies from his classmates.

Jaime always suffered because he looked so much like Junno, often being accused of his mistakes.

One day, he fell in love with an alpha named Jein. Junno, realizing that his brother was in love with Jein, took his place, dressing up like him to steal Jaime's boyfriend.

Junno: You're worthless, brother! Stay away from me, you damn!

Junno was kissing Jein when Jaime entered the room and caught them. Jaime left in tears. Since that day, they stayed away from each other. Jaime believed that the twins were working and being honest, but what he didn't know was that his brother was watching him. At that moment, Junno was following him.

Jaime hid, watching everything, and when he saw his brother enter a motel with an alpha, he followed right behind. What he heard left Jaime horrified. Junno was prostituting himself.

Narrator: Junno was surprised to see Jaime right before his eyes. When he opened the door of the room for the alpha to leave, Junno stared at him. His smile faded when he saw the disappointment in Jaime's eyes, making him desire to hurt his brother, the meddler.

Junno: If you dare to tell our parents, I will kill you. Do you understand me? Now leave here or I will forget that you are my brother and have them remove you by force, if necessary.

Alpha Roger: I don't care. The more, the better.

Jaime: What's happening to you, Junno? Why do you always seek the easiest path to make money? Lying to our parents is the same as selling your body to alphas, even worse during your heat.

Junno: Listen well, Jaime. If our parents find out about this, you'll be a dead man. Now leave here or I will throw you out of the window by force.

Jaime: I am your brother and I love you. I don't want this life for you. Please, Junno, come with me. Don't degrade yourself like this.

Narrator: Junno entered the room and, before slamming the door in Jaime's face, he said:

Junno: You're just my shadow, someone who copies my image. I should have been the only one born in this world; you only came to imitate me. You're jealous of me and everything I have. I've always been more beautiful than you. I'm better at everything. You're just a virgin who's never had a boyfriend in your life. I feel nothing for you.

I don't see you as my brother anymore. Now, get out of here, if you appear in front of me again, you will know what I'm capable of!

A few years later, Junno married alpha Judge Jonathan and distanced himself from his original family and started tormenting the current one.

Jaime hadn't seen his brother for a long time since he got married and stopped visiting the family. His mother and father often asked about him, assuming that Jaime still had contact with his brother. In reality, Jaime no longer had any contact with Junno. Sometimes Junno would call at odd hours, but he would only ask to speak to their mother. Despite this, Jaime didn't hold any grudges against Junno and loved him. His father was a fisherman who left early every morning to go fishing in the sea with his work colleagues. His mother, on the other hand, worked at home making cakes for events and, although the money wasn't much, it helped to support the family. Jaime worked part-time as a barman in a nightclub at night. After Junno's wedding eight years ago, his brother had changed considerably. Jaime was happy that Junno had found his destined Alpha, even if the marriage was more out of interest. Jaime didn't know how they got on, but he hoped Junno was happy. His brother-in-law was famous and even appeared in gossip magazines. One day, while working in the nightclub, Jaime almost panicked when he saw his brother-in-law. He was washing glasses and, without thinking, hid in the shed and asked his friend Bomg to attend to his brother-in-law.

Despite Jaime's words, his heart was heavy with sadness at the separation between him and his twin brother. Junno's detachment and lack of consideration were hard to bear. The pain of his own blood's indifference was a constant burden.Bomg, an understanding friend, understood Jaime's suffering, but also knew that it was difficult for him to fully express his emotions. They shared a look of complicity, a connection that transcended words.Jaime sighed and tried to concentrate on his work, but the feeling of loss and abandonment accompanied him throughout the night. The only thing that comforted him was the distance between him and his famous brother-in-law, which continued to grow every day.

Bomg signals discreetly to Jaime that his brother-in-law has moved away, and they both breathe a sigh of relief. Their legs were aching from having remained in the same position for so long. Jaime's heart races when he realizes that his brother-in-law is sitting at one of the nearby tables, but luckily for him, he doesn't notice Jaime's presence. His brother-in-law is distracted, smiling as he talks to other people. Jaime catches himself thinking how lucky his brother is to have him, but soon he mentally reprimands himself for such thoughts.

Jaime leans on the bar counter, putting his hand on his chin and sighing as he continues his work. He looks closely at his brother-in-law, who seems to be leaving. Jaime feels a sense of relief, knowing that his brother-in-law is about to leave the place. When the clock strikes 11 p.m., Jaime ends his shift exhausted. He waits for a cab, longing to go back to the apartment he has rented, ready to finally rest after a long day's work.

After the unexpected encounter with the
