About this ebook

Mary is not the kind of woman who gets lost in nature easily. But an unexpected storm takes her off the path and while looking for shelter, she accidentally stumbles across the cabin of the grumpy hermit Jack.

At first everything looks like a blessing, and she is even talked into taking off her soaked clothes. But as the demands of her temporary host become more and more brazen, it becomes increasingly unclear what else could happen in the middle of this remote wilderness.

It's not just his appearance that seems animalistic, and soon Mary no longer knows whether she should refuse the demands he makes of her or simply surrender completely. After all, no one would ever find out, and so it would be the perfect place to fulfill secret desires and live out her own, even more kinky fantasies ...

    ––––––––

Summer, sun, open nature and finally a vacation - that's exactly how I had imagined it. After weeks of stress at work, these days off couldn't have come at a better time. And for I could actually get away from it all, I wanted to spend the time in nature, where this works best for me. This time, I had even specially chosen a place where I had never been before and where there was much to discover. It was a truly enchanting area, far away from civilization, to which a bus that ran only about twice a day had brought me. I was completely on my own, but that had never been a problem before. So far, I had always found my way around and with the help of modern technology, speaking of GPS in cell phones and things like this, getting lost in the wilderness was hardly possible nowadays.

That, at least, was my belief until this day.

That the wireless charger had not charged my phone overnight for some reason and on top of that my powerbank was empty, should not spoil my day. Despite these circumstances, I had packed my map and compass and set out to enjoy the day. I was used to orienting myself the old-fashioned way, consequently I had nothing to worry about.

Nothing, except for the rapid weather changes of mountainous regions.

I had just left the beautiful lake behind me, when I heard the grumbling of the sky for the first time. This alarmed me, but it did not shock me at that moment. I oriented myself once again by means of the map, for not needing to turn on the cell phone.

I wanted to save the remaining 2% battery for emergency calls.

There was apparently a small hamlet about three miles away where I could certainly get temporary shelter should this storm actually get worse. Besides, the people there would surely know the fastest way back to the agglomeration. The direct path there led through the forest in front of me, which should not be a problem. I was off the trails anyway, so the terrain didn't matter much. Immediately after, the first raindrops fell and I quickly folded up the map to keep it safe. Then I hurried toward the trees. Going into the forest during a storm was definitely not the best idea, but not every rainstorm was equivalent to a hurricane. And the trees would offer at least a little protection from the rain. At least for now, as I found out. The sky darkened shockingly fast and the few drops quickly turned into a substantial shower. Realizing I couldn't escape the rain, I had to gear up accordingly. I had a thin windbreaker with me, which was supposed to protect against light rain as well. So I put it on, but knew two minutes later that it could not possibly have fulfilled its promise of protection from wetness: This was no longer a light rain that was now falling. It was also not an extensive rain shower, this was a downright deluge. In the meantime I had reached the forest, but that was no longer of any use. The trees and firs were already so strongly wetted after short time that they dripped now even and all rain, which fell further on them, simply passed on downward. Shortly thereafter, the water ran everywhere in my clothes, where it could run in and while
