James' Railway Adventure - Mikkel O. W-K
Chapter 1
In London, there was an apartment, right near Kings Cross. A man named James lived there. One morning, he lay awake in his sofa bed, his thoughts filled with trains. He had always been fascinated by trains since he was a little boy, and now, as a young adult, his interest still burned. Outside his window, he heard the familiar train whistles and the rolling wheels on the tracks. Glenville was the city James preferred to live in, mostly because of the ever-moving tapestry of trains passing through the city's decorative train station. It was England's largest station with 100 platforms, 87 above ground, and 13 below. James had a meeting with his boss, and he feared it might involve an important task.
Good day, James!
said his boss. Good morning,
replied James, and his boss threw a lot of incomprehensible information at him. Can you make it more understandable?
James asked. Okay, long story short, you're simply fired for not liking the job. And I've talked to Mr. Railington, the owner of the new railway company, LBR, or London-Birmingham Railway. When you leave my gate, you are employed by him,
said James' boss. Yes! Thank you very much!
exclaimed James. James received his pay and went on his way, out through the gate. As he stepped out, he received a call. Good morning,
the voice said. Hello,
replied James. This is Bill Railington. Are you James?
