About this ebook

Introduction A life of Healing, a life of Health, A life worth living is a life of Wealth. I have practiced over 25 years as a chiropractor and I have learned that most people come to me to treat their pain. I’m sure that most doctors and therapists have the same experience, people want to receive a treatment that will cure their illness. As I treat my patients I’m also analyzing how their problem was created. I’m looking at various factors like diet, lack of exercise, injurious repetitive movements or anything else that could provoke the problem. I’m trying to get the patient to take responsibility for their problem and help me with their treatment. It appears that I’m treating their physical illness but over the years I have come to a new realization, that a person’s emotional, mental and spiritual side can also affect their health. The reality of the situation is that we can’t separate an illness into a physical, emotional, mental or spiritual ailment, because everything works together. I now understand that attitudes play an essential role in our health and wellbeing. Attitudes have characteristics that are physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. In psychology attitudes are labeled as behavioral (physical), affective (emotional) and cognitive (mental). In this book attitudes have a spiritual side as well, attitudes will have a positive spiritual value or a negative spiritual value. Attitudes that bring people together and unite them has an energy with a positive spiritual value and attitudes that are divisive and cause separation has a negative value. If we have attitudes with a negative spiritual energy then they will cause illness; physical illness, mental illness and emotional illness. We need to adopt attitudes with a positive spiritual energy if we want to stay healthy and grow spiritually. Spiritual growth is there for all of us but we have to make the effort, no one can make us grow spiritually. Looking for someone to cure our ills is a short-term proposition, the long term cure is when we discover what is causing us harm and create a healthy lifestyle. The 7 Laws of Human Nature is a scientific philosophical study into the human consciousness, the 7 chakras and the human aura. We use theories to make sense about what we are observing in life, to explain ideas and interpret facts. The 1st chapter is the Theory of the Oneness of Universal Love, which will present 7 hypotheses. These hypotheses will present facts and suppositions of facts, which will be followed up by a theory. This is all happening on four energy levels; physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Life on Earth has to have a reason, our lives aren’t an accident and this book presents a logical theory on the how and why of life. This is a book on love and how love works in our lives. Chapter 1

    Theory of the Oneness

    of Universal Love

God gave us our heart to feel the love.

He gave us our mind to see the truth.

He gave us our lives to build a world,

Full of His Love and made of His Truth.

Old School, New School and New Age

There have been thousands of philosophies throughout history presenting their own version of how life functions on Earth. Some of the earliest philosophies had their beginnings over 3-5,000 years ago and many of them became religions. In most cases

these philosophies have been evolving in the same way that humanity has been evolving. While almost all philosophies share some of the same values and principles, they also have some major differences that separate them from each other.

In order to grasp these different philosophies more easily we have created three broad categories; the Old School, the New School and the New Age. Divide a circle into three pie shaped wedges and the first wedge is called Old School. This group represents the established religions of Judaism, Christianity, Islamism, Hinduism, Buddhism and many other smaller groups who use ancient texts or teachings that are passed down from one generation to the next. They all share a belief in one God and most believe that if their members follow their religious teachings then they will go to heaven or something of that nature.

The next wedge in the circle is called New School. This group primarily represents the scientific community. This has always been a small group but with the birth of physics almost 500 years ago it has grown tremendously. Many in this group declare themselves to be atheist or agnostic. They believe in science and that the true reality can be observed and proven. They are driven by discovering the truth and most people in this group don´t believe in spirituality.

The third wedge represents the New Age group. This is a very diverse group in the sense that they represent many different beliefs and philosophies, which is a mixture of spiritual experiences, scientific studies and traditional philosophies. New Age would include self-help psychology, chakra work, working with the human aura, past-life regression therapy, out of body experiences, communicating with spiritual beings and a wide range of other techniques and philosophies. In Old School people are usually members of one religious group for their lifetime but in New Age most of them will belong to one group for a while and leave for another, or they may participate in several different groups at the same time. The one thing New Age people have in common with each other is that they are continually searching for more personal and spiritual meaning.

There are many people on the fringes of these groups and this is represented by arrows that pass from one wedge to the other. There will be medical doctors who believe in the scientific evidence of their profession but they will also belong to a Christian religion. They may entertain doubts as to the existence of a soul but they would still remain a member of their religion. In the same way there are people who are experimenting with New Age techniques but they belong to an organized religion.

And of course there are lots of people who are right in the middle of their wedge; people who believe without a doubt that their religion is the right one, or atheists who just know that there is nothing else beyond this physical universe.

If we consider each group independently we can see the contributions that each has made to society and continues to make. The Old School in the sense that religions helped to set moral and ethical standards by which their society was able to achieve stability and order. The New School is based on scientific discoveries and has led to our industrial and technological revolution, which has contributed to the standard of living we are enjoying today. The New Age is growing tremendously in recent years and in a sense they are a combination of the Old School and the New School. Like the Old School they also believe in God, spirituality and Heaven, but similar to the New School they also believe in science. The New Age is the new frontier of spirituality where traditional science has yet to tread but this is due mainly to the fact that scientists work with time, space and matter. Spiritual truth exists outside of these three dimensions and cannot be studied with traditional scientific techniques. There are various names for this invisible spiritual reality; fourth dimension, parallel universe, anti-matter, spiritual worlds or heaven but whatever people want to call it the New Age group knows it is real and wants to learn more about it. In one sense the New Age represents the continuing evolution of spirituality in which the Old School religions have failed to evolve.

When working with laws, hypotheses and theories scientists are using tests, experiments and observation to prove or disprove hypotheses and theories. When working with time, space and matter itś almost always possible to test a theory but when working with emotions, mind and spirituality it becomes much more qualitative and difficult to test. In the 1970’s when Dr. Raymond Moody wrote his groundbreaking book, Life After Life, he did in depth interviews into the experience people had of dying and then being brought back to life. He eventually determined there were 15 stages in the dying process. Since then there have been many books written about the near death experience and they all come to similar conclusions. Itś difficult for many scientists to accept this kind of proof but when dealing with spiritual matters we have to rely on the experiences of people and their observations because direct testing is difficult, if not impossible.

When it comes to spiritual matters we have to rely on our own experiences and beliefs. In many respects, what we believe will have a direct affect on the spiritual experiences that we will have. For example, if we believe that spiritual beings and angels don´t exist then it will seriously limit our ability to have an experience with a spiritual entity. There is a thin veil that hides the spiritual world from our eyesight, so it becomes difficult to see chakra energy, read auras and communicate with spiritual

beings, especially if we have a mindset that doesn´t believe this is possible. If a thousand people have the same spiritual experience, we could dismiss their experience by saying they were hallucinating or just making it up but there comes a time when we need to start believing that if a large number of people are having similar experiences then there must be some truth in what they are experiencing. One of the first steps to having a spiritual experience is believing that itś possible and the next is studying other peopleś spiritual experiences to learn how they did it.

In presenting this philosophy we will take the position that reincarnation, the human aura, the 7 chakras, the spiritual worlds and spiritual beings are factual occurrences.

The number of people who have seen these phenomena and had spiritual experiences numbers in the thousands. The 7 Laws of Human Nature is a philosophy for people who already believe in a spiritual reality because in the end, spirituality is something we have to prove to ourselves, it shouldn´t depend on others trying to prove it to us.

When people are asked if they believe in gravity the overwhelming majority will answer yes, but what if they don´t believe in gravity. That doesn´t mean their body will float away from Earth, it means that whether you believe in gravity or not, it affects everyone equally. The spiritual laws of the universe operate with the same equality; it doesn´t make any difference what you believe because the spiritual laws of the universe will affect everyone equally.

Sir Isaac Newton needed to define the Law of Gravity before he could develop physics and eventually this led to our ability to send men to the moon. Physics had to lay the groundwork before we could develop much of today’s technology. The human race is on the doorstep of a great spiritual revolution but it requires that we understand the spiritual laws that are affecting us. The 7 Laws of Human Nature is a philosophy of life that shares many of the same principles as other philosophies. The main difference is that the 7 Laws of Human Nature is an organized system that is scientific in its approach to spirituality. It is presenting a theory of spiritual philosophy based on the personal experiences of thousands of people, but it is also knowledge derived from many different philosophies and religions. Much of this philosophy is Buddhist or Zen in nature because it is absent of dogma or a specific way in which to live life. It includes the energy of the 7 chakras but it gives them an understanding that is different than yoga and other traditional studies. It has the Tao qualities of yin (feminine) and yang (masculine) but it explains it in a way that gives an understanding of why men are men and women are women. The focus of this book is on love, much like the love that Jesus taught over 2,000 years ago. The symbol on the cover of this book is called the Eye of God, an ancient Egyptian symbol whose diagram captures the essence of this philosophy. This is a philosophy striving to be as scientific as possible, applying laws, principles and logical consequences.

Mathematics is one of our most exacting sciences because it uses numbers whose quantitative value is predetermined and everyone can agree on the values being presented. Philosophy is much more qualitative, it requires using words whose definition and quantitative value vary from person to person. This becomes even more qualitative with words that have an emotional quality like love; it is virtually

impossible for any two people to have the same understanding of the word love, because it represents an emotional quality that will be different for every person on Earth. Even though we cannot create an exact definition for love we can describe it from various angles to try and create an image from which to understand it better and reach some agreement on its meaning. The essence of this book is about Universal Love and is dedicated to understanding its multifaceted nature. There is a glossary in the back of the book to clarify the meaning of certain words.

The 7 Laws of Human Nature is a philosophy of life that we can put into our lives and use on a daily basis. We start with 7 hypotheses and this is followed up with the Theory of the Oneness of Universal Love, that ties them all together. Each hypothesis is based on accepted facts and factual experiences with a supposition of what these facts represent. Study each hypothesis and ask yourself two questions, Does it seem to be true? and Does it make sense?

1st Hypothesis- The theory of evolution is conducting nature, and especially humanity, towards a certain direction or destiny. It is a slow process but it appears to have a unifying effect on humanity. There is a source where we come from and a source we are moving towards, this source is called Oneness.

The human being has been in a process of evolution for thousands of years. This is not just the human race but all of nature with its animals, insects and plants have been in an evolutionary process. Scientists have found that our evolutionary process started thousands of years ago and we continue to evolve. This is more than just the evolution of the human body, it is also present in our emotional and mental evolution.

Emotionally and behaviorally we are learning how to live together more harmoniously as compared to hundreds of years ago or even a couple of generations in the past. Our mental evolution is evidenced in our current technological and industrial revolution. It seems that we are evolving towards something, but what is that something and where is it leading us?

Our human evolution has a unifying process, where everyone seems to be moving towards a common goal. It is a slow process and people will point out the thousands of conflicts that are happening around the world. But we need to look back through history and see how much we have improved and from that point of view we can see the progress we have made toward unifying the world. There are still wars but they are much less intense than the world wars that started in 1918 and 1939. The world seems to have gotten smaller because we can now travel to almost any place in the world within 24 hours. We have the ability to communicate with anyone in the world and we have an awareness of almost every minor and major catastrophe around the world. We are becoming world citizens, more so now than at any time in the past. This is a process of unification and it also points towards a Oneness, that we are all coming closer together and have something in common.

There are many religions and philosophies that point to a Supreme Being and give it names, such as God, Allah, Yahweh or some other name. It makes no difference what name we give this Entity but there appears to be some kind of unseen force that is

pulling us in a certain direction. In a way we are like the steel filings being pulled towards a magnet. The question remains, what is the purpose of this attraction?

There are hundreds, if not thousands of explanations for this unseen force and what it is trying to do in our lives. What appears to be most apparent is that all of us are evolving towards something. We may liken this to the Law of Gravity, in that gravity affects all of us equally, independent if we believe in gravity or not. There must likewise be some kind of laws, spiritual or otherwise, and like gravity they would affect all of us equally, pulling us in a certain direction. If these laws are treating everyone equally then they would have a unifying effect on the universe and everyone in it. This means there is a Oneness and we are all part of this Oneness, even if we don’t understand it. We are being pulled closer and closer to this Oneness and one day we will be close enough to recognize it for what it is. Until that moment we are learning and every experience is leading us towards Oneness.

2nd Hypothesis- The Law of Universal Love is the energy within evolution that is moving us towards Oneness. We all recognize the power of love within our own lives and itś this same power that is causing us to evolve into more mature human beings.

Universal Love is composed of spiritually positive attitudes, or Virtues, like justice, equality and liberty that are bringing nations and people closer together.

We all recognize that love is one of the most powerful emotions in our lives. The energy of love is real, itś beautiful and in special moments itś absolutely magnificent.

This 2nd hypothesis is founded on the premise that love has the long-term effect of causing an emotional, mental and spiritual transformation, but itś more than just personally loving someone else. The love we have for our parents, our children and our spouse is a personal love that is often intense and pleasurable. Universal Love would include this kind of love but itś also a love that would apply to everyone else, whether it is a relative, a friend or even a stranger. Universal Love is an attitude as to how everyone should be treated. We are further defining Universal Love with words like reverence, gratitude, sharing, respect, acceptance, honesty, justice, forgiveness and equality. The 7 Laws of Human Nature uses 47 positive qualities and attitudes to describe Universal Love, and these are called Virtues.

We are all on the same journey. Many people belong to philosophies and religions that have different beliefs and each group has a different way of looking at life. These different beliefs have a tendency to create a separation between groups and people.

Everyone on Earth has one thing in common, we all share this planet together and we need to take care of it together. There is one more thing we all have in common; a love of family and a love of friends. When we begin to understand the essence of Universal Love, we begin to understand the necessity of spreading love throughout our community and country. This attitude goes beyond words like socialism, capitalism, communism, democracy and other such labels. It recognizes the world as a giant community where everyone is helping everyone else. Where every job and function is important, every life is essential. This is a philosophy of life which is obvious in a small community. The farmer grows the food, the baker makes the bread, the store sells the food and everyone has a job to do to help the community survive, prosper and grow.

The world is one community and we need each other to survive on Earth. We are put on Earth to understand the importance of social love, in which every one of us are brothers and sisters.

If we have this love within us then it must have come from somewhere. Universal Love is an emotional energy that must originate somewhere in the Spiritual Worlds. We receive this love from the universe and itś the same kind of love we need to use on each other. Love brings people together and it just makes sense that love is part of our evolution, bringing people closer together. We can believe what we want to believe, but the energy of love that comes from the Oneness of the Universe will affect all of us equally and like gravity it will treat us all the same. Universal Love is not limited to include just family and friends, it wants us to realize that every person on Earth is family. When we harm someone else, in reality we are harming ourselves. It is our selfishness and self-centeredness that keeps us from seeing love at this level. It is our destiny to learn Universal Love and the purpose of our life on Earth is to teach us about love.

3rd Hypothesis- Our consciousness is representative of who we are; composed of thoughts, feelings, emotions, memories, attitudes and everything else that makes up our personality. Its true essence is spiritual, with eternal life while our human body and brain are temporary vessels being utilized when living on Earth. Reincarnation is an affirmation that our physical body will die but our soul will come back to Earth time, after time, after time.

We are our consciousness. It is mind, emotion and feelings. It consists of memories, dreams, hopes and disappointment. Consciousness represents everything in our past and up to the present moment. Consciousness is eternal and it never sleeps but when the physical body sleeps we are usually not aware of it, except in dreams.

Our consciousness functions in four basic energy levels; the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. The physical is composed of time, space and matter. The physical represents our body, the earthly environment and our daily life of living. Our emotional side is the feelings of laughter, anger, joy, sadness and all those emotions that give life that zestful feeling. Our physical behavior can show our emotions but we experience most of our emotions with our mind and inner feelings. Our greatest pleasures in life are derived from our emotions and it’s what makes us feel alive; and the feeling that life is worth living, or not. We live our emotions daily in our contact with family, friends, pets and from life itself.

The mental side represents the mind with its thoughts, ideas, memories, images and everything else the mind is capable of producing. The creative mind can put ideas together and construct things that never existed. Our physical reality, our emotional feelings and our intellectual mind are a reality that everyone recognizes but there is still much disagreement as to how it functions in our lives. Our spiritual side is the most subtle energy and one that many people don’t believe in or have doubts of its existence. There are many people who have experienced this spiritual reality and it can be understood as being another dimension or spiritual universe. Because of its subtle nature, spirituality is hard to define but it coexists with our physical reality.

Many people have had experiences of travelling with their consciousness to incredible spiritual worlds while their physical body was lying in bed.

Our consciousness actually exists in two different realities. When we are in our physical body we are in human consciousness and our consciousness is dealing with a physical reality. With physical death our consciousness leaves the physical plane of existence and goes to the spiritual world. In this moment we are living as soul consciousness, but we still retain our identity with a mind, memories, emotional feelings and creative intelligence; at the same time there is no physical body, because we are living outside the realms of time, space and matter. Our physical body is a temporary vessel and it follows that our human consciousness will have a brief existence, while soul consciousness, which is our true reality, has eternal life. This is confirmed by peopleś near death experiences; people whose physical body has died and their consciousness flew to another spiritual world and eventually returned to their physical body. There are also people who astral travel, they have the ability to leave their physical body at will, travel to another spiritual world and come back.

The ability of people to communicate with angels and spiritual beings is more ancient than the Bible. Just in the last 100 years there have been thousands of people who have documented their communication with spiritual beings and angels; these spiritual beings had no physical body or brain but they had a consciousness and the ability to communicate. This supports the hypothesis that our consciousness is a spiritual quality that does not originate in the brain. Our consciousness coexists with the physical body and with physical death it will be transported to the spiritual worlds. Our consciousness interfaces with the human brain so completely that we learn to believe that our thoughts and feelings are coming from our physical body and brain. This is one of the great illusions of life on Earth and breaking away from this illusion is the first step to understanding the true reality of life.

Consciousness is an individual quality composed of attitudes, feelings, thoughts and ideas. There are over 7 billion people on Earth and it follows that there are over 7

billion different levels of consciousness. Each person is unique and has their own perspective about life.

4th Hypothesis- There are 47 Virtues which represent attitudes with a positive spiritual energy to increase our understanding of Universal Love. Attitudes function on four levels: the physical is our behavioral, the emotional our affective, the mental our cognitive and the spiritual determines if an attitude has a positive energy causing unification or a negative energy causing separation. For example, racism is a negative attitude because it causes separation, whereas Virtues like equality, justice, acceptance and respect are positive attitudes that unify people and create Oneness.

The ultimate purpose of this book is to raise our level of consciousness. Each person has their own personality with their own level of consciousness and their own attitudes. Let’s imagine that two people had the same exact attitudes, this could never happen but let’s imagine that it could. They would still retain their individual personality; one person likes sweets and the other sour, one likes rock & roll and the other classical, but in this instance they would both share the same level of

consciousness. It’s our attitudes about life that determines our level of consciousness and spiritual growth, not the food we eat or the hobbies we enjoy.

Psychology is a science studying the mind, emotions and behavior of people. In psychology an attitude is defined as an expression of favor or disfavor toward a person, place, thing or event which is integrated into an affect-cognition-behavior system. It is a person’s perspective on life affecting them on three levels; behavioral, affective and cognitive. In this philosophy behavioral represents the physical energy level, affective the emotional and cognitive the mental. Psychology doesn’t address the spiritual side of attitudes but in the 7 Laws of Human Nature we recognize that an attitude which is moving towards Oneness has a positive spiritual value and an attitude that moves away from Oneness has a negative spiritual quality. Attitudes that would unite us together would have Oneness and those that separate or divide us lack Oneness.

Racism is an attitude that is very prevalent in our society and it is very apparent how
