About this ebook

Noble award for physics, year 2022! Science has proved that the world is not real. New discoveries are turning scientists into philosophers. God has shifted His position from an extra-terrestrial heaven to the inner realm of human psyche. What was once explained in terms of divine creation is now in the purview of science.

Now both science and Scriptures say that We create the world, Our own reality, with Our own ego, desires, mind and intellect. It cannot thus be said to be the absolute reality.

Remember, our five senses are not our only means of knowledge. A fragment of reality sometimes reaches the intelligence in other ways which we are normally not aware of.

Note that our reality is not the ultimate reality. Only we choose and observe it to be our reality. Whatever we are experiencing out there in the physical world is finally the experience of consciousness itself. As soon as we realize our own observation is the cause of everything, then we can decide to create another reality literally.

Reality and truth are often misunderstood to convey the same meaning but strictly speaking they are not so. If we analyze these two words carefully, we can notice a subtle difference between them. Truth is always real; Reality is not always true.

We need to know the truth which is through actual experience. Without realization, they are just ideas. Truth is within.

The ultimate truth about Self, after knowing which nothing remains to be known, is a subject of search and research, reasoning and reflection, discussion and decision, and finally testing and experiencing it within.

Every advance in knowledge brings us face to face with the mystery of our own being.

This book is dwelling at length, from scientists stand point, as to how they say that the realities perceived at all the senses levels are illusions only.

This book finally throws light on what is The Reality and what is The Truth; and at what platform it can be and must be perceived to get spiritual liberation and inner peace.

Quite a number of mind-blowing concepts, theories are also given here - with few not even researched yet. The hidden Truth, you are told in this Spirituo-scientific exploration, will be of spiritual self- help nature.

Finally, since it is all about us, our own higher dimensions only which normally we are not privy to, it is a must-read book for everyone and anyone for rising above sufferings of life and quicken our roller coaster journey of life through incarnations.

The Truth about Self - sanjeev sareen

    QUANTUM THEORY

Before proceeding further, we need to understand what is quantum theory because that is where science enters the domain of spirituality. For the benefit of those who do not understand Quantum theory, let me explain it briefly here. This is very crucial for the further understanding of the subject. So kindly pay attention.

Quantum physicists has proved that the entire universe is entirely made up of the energy units that both behave like wave and object. And the action of looking at it only makes it solid as our brain decodes them into a five –sense image. And that at subatomic level, particles do not behave like pieces and objects any more. More explanation follows.

The relevance of this truth which Seers already knew but science proved now, is that finally anything and everything including us, are made up of those units. Proponents would argue that the findings within quantum physics only apply and are significant at the subatomic level, but are we not all existing at the subatomic level? When we observe ourselves and our physical environment at the smallest level, are we not made up of atoms? Are we not made up of subatomic particles? Are we not what we observe?

It may seem the atomic world isn't particularly relevant to our day-to-day lives; however, this information is a key point when it comes to our understanding of how the forces shape the physical world, and thus, it is key to understanding the universe. After all, you can't understand how large things work without knowing the ins-and-outs of the small stuff, too.

Quantum mechanics tells us that we are made up of particles, which means that, microscopically, all sorts of strange things are going on within us that aren't perceivable to the human eye — things that sometimes seem to make little sense.

Thus, there is need to relook at things including ourselves, in this new light, on these aspects instead of treating things as matter, solid etc. At those quantum levels we will find the very existence on which we based our reality so far, start vanishing as if it was only appearance and not a reality. Establishing this new truth about Self and everything else will throw new directions on how to conduct life. And that is where, spirituality comes in.

The quantum world is definitely a strange one, and it’s safe to say that we don’t understand it fully yet, but we do recognize the significance and potential it has to help transform our world.

The implications of these findings that our physical material reality really isn’t physical at all, has led to the connections between consciousness and what we call reality and how these can no longer be denied.

We are starting to recognize that non-physical properties are what actually govern the universe, and we are turning our attention towards consciousness and the role it plays with regards to the physical make up of our reality.

According to quantum theory, even if we do not talk, even if we do not look at each other, you affect me, and I affect you. Your electron and my electron are only approximately distinguishable. In denying objectivity, quantum mechanics denies absolute status to your individuality. The only ‘individual’ is the entire universe. Within every particle there is a sense in which every other particle resides.

Brian Josephson, winner of 1973 Nobel Prize in physics said: It raises the possibility that one part of the universe may have knowledge of another part - some kind of contact at a distance under certain conditions.

Many scientists have voiced on similar lines, briefly reproduced in the next chapter.

    Conclusion:

Niels Bohr, a Danish Physicist who made significant contributions to understanding atomic structure and quantum theory once said: if quantum mechanics hasn’t profoundly shocked you, you haven’t understood it yet. Quantum physics has left scientists all over the world baffled, especially with the discovery that our physical material reality, isn’t really physical at all.

    SCIENTISTS’ VIEW

Stephen Hawking said "It is difficult to discuss the beginning of the universe without mentioning the concept of God. It is quite possible that God acts in ways that cannot be described by scientific laws.

Einstein was very close to the truth when he wrote, I want to know how God created this world, I am not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His thoughts; the rest are details.

Physicist Paul Davies speaks of the impossibility of knowing the absolute since the absolute includes the knower also: We cannot know Absolute, by rational means, for any Absolute, being a Unity and hence complete within itself, must include itself. And here we encounter once more the Godelian limits to rational.

Schrodinger wrote as early as in 1924, when quantum physics just started its century-long journey. This life of yours which you are living is not merely a piece of this existence, but in certain sense the 'whole’. This, as we know, is what the Brahmins express in that sacred mystic formula. Tat Twam Asi. You are That. Or again in such words as I am in the east, I am in the west, I am below and above. I Am This Whole World."

Max Planck, the father of Quantum physics, raised similar questions in his book ‘Where is Science Going’ in which, he wrote: Science cannot solve the ultimate mystery of nature. And that is because in the last analysis we ourselves are part of nature.

A wheeler put it this way that in the great drama of existence, the subjective and objective have been fused into one ‘Omnijective’ reality.

In Schrodinger's wave equation this ‘Omnijective’ reality ultimately appeared to be a creation of the subjective alone.

In certain circumstances Schrodinger's wave function predicted the behaviour of a given particle up to a point and then described two equally probable outcomes of the same particle. It seemed that an electron, in Schrodinger's wave, can parade at the same instant simultaneously in many forms, say as a saint or sinner, thief or police.

The interpretation has opened unprecedented possibilities of human creativity and higher evolution.

We see the world according to our states of consciousness. Sinners like Magdalene or Amrapali who were hated by the so called virtuous, became an object of hatred to commoners and at the same instant they became an object of compassion and care to Buddha and Christ, and an object of adoration and respect to Shri Ramakrishna.

We will see in the following chapters, how Physics has laid the rational foundation for these different visions of reality at the same moment. We create the world, our own reality, with our own ego, desires, mind and intellect. And therefore, it can be changed too. But important point is, it cannot be said to be the absolute reality.

    CHAPTER-1

    ILLUSION

Reality gets questioned- the noble prize 2022 for physics goes to three scientists on quantum entanglement!

Quantum entanglement is a phenomenon in quantum physics where the properties of two or more subatomic particles, such as electrons and photons, become correlated, or entangled, in such a way that the state of one particle cannot be described independently of the state of the other particle, even if the two particles are separated by large distances. This means that if the properties of one particle are measured, the properties of the other particle are instantaneously affected, regardless of the distance between the two particles.

This connection is instantaneous and does not diminish with distance and is considered one of the most bizarre and non-intuitive aspects of quantum mechanics.

Quantum entanglement has many implications in the field of quantum computing and quantum cryptography, as it allows for the creation of a shared encryption key that can be used to secure communication.

As per science, the Object, apparently, cannot be there at two places at the same time. But these subatomic particles can and has been proved experimentally.

This is exactly in line with Eastern philosophy. The power of appearing in more than one body is a siddhi (yogic power). The phenomenon of bilocation has been exhibited in the lives of many saints down the ages.

Now, the prize for physics has been awarded to physicists who have proven that the universe is not real. What is amazing is that this is just what many great rishis, holy scriptures like Vedanta have been proclaiming for Millennia. That the world is not real. It is just the conscious Observer or a witness that brings the world into existence.

These physicists devised an ingenious experiment that proved that quantum physics is absolutely right particles, which even if they are billions of light years apart, do in fact know each other's state instantly. There is something spooky happening that defies explanation thus settling the argument in the favour of quantum physics they basically proved that the universe is not real.

But what is real then, what is causing the illusion?

Let me explain this with an analogy. You are watching a magician perform a series of incredible tricks. There are two possible explanations for this. He's a real magician like Harry Potter and can perform magic using his wand. The second explanation is that he's tricking you. You are not able to see what he's doing so it looks like magic to you in reality it is not magic at all. If this trick is explained to you it'll make perfect sense.

In this analogy, Harry Potter is equivalent to the quantum physics version of reality. If such bizarre and unexplainable behaviour really exists, it proves that quantum physics is accurate, the universe is not real.

Now there is a second scenario. What if the magician is not Harry Potter? What if he is only a skilled trickster making us believe that magic is happening when there is a perfectly logical explanation for the trick. This is the second explanation for entangled particles. It's not that these particles are bizarre and their behaviour is beyond any explanation. It is just that we don't understand them fully. If we understood their properties, we would be able to provide a perfectly logical explanation for their behaviour without involving quantum
