Meeting Ana.

It’s early evening the sun is starting to set.

It’s about 6 pm.

New York City.

Ana is seen walking down the alley with 3 gang members following her into the alley.

Ana: Leave me alone.

Gang member #1: What if we don’t?

Baurenzio walks around the corner.

The gang members look at Baurenzio.

Baurenzio: I think you girls should walk away.

Gang member #2: You a fucking cop?

Baurenzio: No worse, I’m Baurenzio Baudellino.

Gang member #3: Oh big fucking deal, the mafia ain’t shit.

Baurenzio: I think you should get a job and get the fuck out of my neighborhood.

Gang member #1: Why the fuck would we do that?

Baurenzio: Would you rather die or spend the rest of your life in prison or make your money legally?

Gang member #2: Who the fuck are you to judge us, you’re a criminal too.

Baurenzio: That can’t be confirmed, unlike you I don’t leave any evidence or witnesses.

Gang member #3: You gonna stand here talking all night or what?

Baurenzio: I’ll make a deal with you. If you can beat me you can do whatever you want with the skirt but if I win the skirt comes with me, copeche?

The gang members laugh.

Gang member #1: What you think you can beat us in, a fucking meatball eating contest?

Baurenzio: I see you seem to have me confused with yourself. I can beat you in anything, what’s it gonna be Nancy?

Gang member #2: Why don’t we just beat your ass?

Baurenzio: Because you can’t.

The gang members attempt to attack Baurenzio.

Baurenzio takes out the gang members with martial arts.

Ana: Holy crap.

Baurenzio: They should have walked away, what’s your name?

Ana: I’m Ana, now I go with you?

Baurenzio: Right, lets go.

They walk away.

Baurenzio takes Ana back to his apartment.

Ana: Thanks for saving me.

Baurenzio: No problem, I’m surprised you didn’t run away while I was dealing with your friends.

Ana: I saw how you knocked them down and how fast you did it plus you seem like a nice guy.

Baurenzio thought that he only has Ana for a night, he has a thing for brunette’s but against his standards he had to have some fun with her.

The next day...

Video store clerk 1: Hey are you Mr. Baudellino?

Video store clerk 2: Yeah man can I talk to you in your office?

Baurenzio: Sure. What is it?

Video store clerk 2: Okay we know who the gang members are that came here to rob us last night and if you want we’ll take care of it but they want $3k for each member or they will send more of their people over here.

Baurenzio: I see, well thanks for letting me know, call them back and tell them I don’t have the money but when I find them I will personally go after them and kill them all including their families then we’ll settle up outstanding debts afterwards okay?

Baurenzio: What’s your favorite food?

Ana: I like Mexican food.

Baurenzio: Perfect. I know a nice Mexican restaurant on the west side that you’ll like.

Ana: Thank you, you didn’t have to do this.

Baurenzio: Hey if it weren’t for me they would have raped and killed you.

Ana: It could still happen. They know where I live.

Baurenzio: If I catch them you can think about that, but if they see me again the barrel will be their last sight in life. Come on lets go eat.

They arrive at the restaurant. The waiter greets Baurenzio and tells him to sit anywhere he wants to he sits in a big booth area with Ana across from him. She looks very uncomfortable with him. The waiter comes back bringing there drinks, water for her and coffee for him. He asks her what she would like to eat and she responds with a chicken burrito and enchilada combo with rice and beans. The waiter nods his head and takes the menu back smiling he brings back some chips and salsa when she takes one of them he realizes that she won’t be able to eat it because of her blade hands he quickly apologizes and brings another basket no problem dude, it happens quite often a basket that way you have plenty of chips here you go his big hands cupping her smaller...
