Greenwood and Archer is a book that both touches the heart and informs the nation of the true accounting of what some call the Tulsa Race Riot, also known as the 1921 Race Riot, the night Tulsa died, along with a few other names. This book is warm and romantic and lighthearted in parts, yet filled with history of the strong African Americans of that era. Fictional characters are dropped into real life situations which makes great reading for this historical romance novel. Annie Spann is from a small in Mississippi town called Greenwood. Her fascination with Black Wall Street coupled with her sassy mouth lands her in the middle of the desires of two men. Buddy, who owns one of the local barber shops and Martin a very well-known nightclub owner. Annie rooms for a very short while with Maybell Thomas, who owns a large rooming house. The fictional characters just mentioned, depict the 600 plus, successful businesses that made up the area known as The Black Wall Street. Some of these businesses included twenty one churches, twenty one restaurants, thirty grocery stores and two movie theaters, plus a hospital, a bank, a post office, libraries, schools, law offices, a half dozen private airplanes and even a bus system. Which you will encounter in this emotional story.

Born and raised in Sacramento, Jacqueline has had the opportunity to travel over seas and across the United States. She has enthusiastically witnessed other cultures and lifestyles. Her travels and experiences have helped her craft stories set in a variety of beautiful romantic locations. Jacqueline is an educator that has a passion for teaching people about black history and enjoys doing so via interweaving fictional characters inside of researched based historical events. She is the proud mother of three and grandmother of three. She credits her creativity to God and the love of her parents who encouraged her to be the best Jacqueline she could be.
