About this ebook

The last thing Austin wants to do is revisit the pain and heartache he experienced during his last year of high school, but when the only two guys he's ever really cared about abruptly re-enter his life, he doesn't have a choice in the matter. All he can do is try to forgive. But are the two even worthy of forgiveness? And what will happen if Austin stops pretending that he no longer cares?

Shawn and Caleb have struggled with their guilt for a long time. Unable to move on, they've finally taken the difficult step of facing their demons, but what if their emotions make an already messy situation ten times worse?

Violet Jessamy

Violet Jessamy’s thoughts do not always revolve around sex - just most of the time. She believes that this fact, along with her hyperactive imagination, is to blame for her choice of secondary career. Having developed a passionate interest in erotica as soon as she figured out it existed, she credits the internet in general for allowing her to pursue said interest and tolerating her early attempts at creating the perfect arousing tale. She also writes non-erotic fiction, but gets far more enjoyment out of writing smutty stories.

The last two people I had expected to be waiting for me after my last college calculus class of the semester were, in no particular order of assholishness, my ex-best friend, and the guy who had outed me to my entire hometown. And catching sight of them brought my mood, within a second flat, from unapologetically cheerful to I’d-rather-have-a-root-canal.

Shawn and Caleb. A year and a half ago, I might have rushed to embrace them both, but now I knew better. I knew they would rather see me burn on a pyre than allow me to dirty their perfect heterosexual lives with my existence. I also knew I had no desire to talk to them ever again.

So when, a single moment after I’d spotted them, they caught sight of me and gifted me a pair of narrow-eyed stares, I turned on my heel and took off at a ninety degree angle from my previous path. This hallway was empty, allowing for a quick getaway. Even though it didn’t lead to the front door, there was a side exit in the nearest stairwell, and I hurried towards it with all the desperation of a hunted man, because fuck that noise.

What the hell were they doing here? My pounding heart kept asking the question as I pushed open the door to the stairwell, as I made my way down the stairs with little grace.

Why were they here? They’d won. Why couldn’t they just leave me the hell alone?

Austin! someone called, the word echoing ominously. I threw myself against the exit and stumbled outside into the warm, humid air. Fuck, I whispered under my breath. Fuck, fuck, fuck.

Grimly I balled my hands into fists. If they’d come to give me another beating, I’d be ready. I’d give as good as I got this time. Frankly, part of me wanted nothing more than to mar Caleb’s perfect, beautiful face with a broken nose or a knocked-out tooth. I wasn’t generally a violent person, but he was worth an exception. Just this once.

    Austin!

The voice again, this time clearly annoyed. Shawn. He’d hollered my name across the schoolyard in grade school countless times, and apart from
