For thousands of years, mankind felt the need to journey from one place to another in an effort to discover Earth. And while politically conquering the world may have been the motivation for the likes of Alexander the Great and Xerxes, modern day travelers tend to take time off their busy schedules to simply indulge and immerse themselves in a different culture or to take a break from the harsh realities of life.
Yet simple
is generally not a term used to describe travel. In fact for most people, it conveys just the opposite. Complicated, stressful, expensive, time-consuming, dangerous – these are only a few words that leap to mind
