Introduction:
MEET THE TRAVEL GEEK
Hi readers, and welcome to this journey. Let me quickly introduce myself, and then let’s jump right into the fascinating world of travel.
I did my apprenticeship in a travel agency and have worked in the industry for many, many years. As a passionate traveler myself, I definitely can give you the best tips on how to make your trip a most unforgettable experience. I figured out even today, when all the information seems so easy to get, that many travel beginners get stuck. They have many questions or only confidently travel when they trust the information. I want to give you a book that takes you behind the curtain of a huge industry with all its weird and sometimes illogical ways.
I was born and raised in Switzerland in the middle of Europe, but in fact, it’s not Europe. See, here is the first confusing part, but I will explain it later in detail. What I want to mention is that I am not based in the United States and might see things differently from readers who live there. I hope you enjoy this book and wherever it may take you, have safe travels and
