The Undulating Verses - Dr. Kesang Ongmu Gensapa
THE BOOK IN ME
The book in me
Simple and easy to understand
A trustful implication of sobriety
A playground of thoughts and theme
A rhapsody of love and lost
A song of heartbeat and heartbreak
A field of cheer and charm
A lane of sweet dreams
A door of emancipation
A window of liberty
A house of trust
A bridge of hope
A nest of fondness
A garden of happiness
A gesture of admiration
A step of encouragement
A pillow of faith
A dormitory of belief
A show room of love
A gallery of promises
A corridor of confidence
A staircase of ambition
A heart of innocence
A book inside me
It is huge amalgam of
Reasons sought

THE WOUND
Is a decaying stuff and is healed too
But the wound of heart
Is something sad and forlorn too
The wound given by yourself
And by those whom you love
The wound open and those hidden
The silent wound that doesn't show
And the horrid wound that pains the most
The simple wound that stays a while
While others that don't go away at all
The serious wound that keeps you tormenting
And the wound that
keep coming back
The scary wound that can hurt you most
The wound of thousands ills
That creeps along
When you don't like it at all
The wounds given by your enemies
Are like salt pasted upon the sore
And left open for flies to soar
And the wounds given by one you love
Is like a balm to an ailing heart
And is kept green and unattended
Because wounds of love
Is like a song sung over and over again
The wounds that make you cry and laugh
But without shedding tears
The wound of heart
Is the wound of love

TOMORROW'S SUN
As life proceeds with a hope
The only weapon to hold on
Because after every dark night
The morning comes smiling in
Since time immortal
As would blessings come in disguises
The tomorrow sun comes all true
And it is too hood to be true
As would the darkness
Hide the shadow in confinement
But tomorrow's sun
Is perfectly in time
Because it gets
Hope, aspirations and inspirations
And redecorate each and every wall
Of painful sorrow and bruises of hurt
And when tomorrow's sun comes up
Mitigating all
It's a great relief
And a song too

AS I LAY IN MY BED
As I lay down my bed
Every evening as usual
I believe this is the moment
The moment I have waited for
To rekindle my energy
And to sharpen my thoughts
To meet with myself
Who is lost for the whole day
Of being a woman, a mother
And an official next
With all the tenacity and grit
I try to put a bold face up
With each single day passing by
In all the mercy and in mirth
I count my blessings
And I am surprised to find
Myself being a total stranger
All within myself
When I lay in my bed
And simply stare at the ceiling
It is a kind of rejuvenation
It is a bold movement too
As I go back and search myself
Amid many others in me
Someone whom I have always been
Somebody I truly am
When I lay in my bed
It is the nicest time of my life ever

UNDUE SUBMISSION
A stake that is fake
But without a retake
Ah, apathy, thou name is art
And that without a part
And an undue submission
A cry that is a lie
A harness without a tie
Ah, indulgence to a heart's content
An undue submission
A thousands slap of mutiny
Across the bare face of deceit
That never reaches to the other side
Ah, flares of falsity
And an undue submission all the way
When seditious mind takes a turn
Hovering down like a boiling pot
Ask me not how it is
Because I am the stranger
Who ran after his hat
On a cold stormy day
Ah, another undue submission
Upon the pity and piety
Of being a human indeed
Ask me not how it is to
Be a Long lost friend
Never united
An undue submission indeed

THE FESTIVE JOY
Merry be the song and merry be the music
As we sing along the festive days
With plenty of choices
That makes you feel like a queen
In an never ending joy
Till the day it is over
With hangover and nostalgic feelings
Till another year comes around
And like the days in the past
Each day is a gala time
With songs and dances
And with customs and traditions all along
Blessings comes around
In manifold charismatic lines
When rituals has a say
Amid the dangling hours of complete mirth
As the lazy day waits upon the horizon
With lots of promises and prizes
For another year
As time flies in a jiffy
Without any prior notice
And without any commitments too
To the very day
Of another year
As we wish each other
The greetings and shower love
Without any regrets
The festive days

MY LIBERTY
In my liberty
I take my sweet will
To sing along
With the wind
And dance to the tune
Of the soothing music
And breathe into
The open space
And shout across the hills
To form an echo
As the silent hills retaliate
To my nuisance
I simply roll my tongue
And tease them
Like a jungle animal
And in the evening when
Sun goes down the hills
I simply stare at the horizon
To admire the scenario
And to paint a picture or two
Of my imagination across the sky
And as the dusk appear
I silently move away
And take a backseat
To watch the simmering stars come by
And adorn the empty sky
With blistering joy all around

THE FALLEN DIVINITY
For all the sincerity of her
She was denied a shelter
For all the honesty of her
She couldn't afford half day's meal
For all her chastity
She was declared a flirt
For all her tenacity
She was called a looser
For all her initiation
She was never
