Call to War

I, Joy, a writer of Jesus Christ by the will of God, do write unto you through the pages of Call to War because of my faith in our Lord, along with my hope and vision for you to replenish the soil of your heart with seeds of prayer. Our King (Jesus) is looking for a harvest. Remember the fig tree in Matthew 21 and Mark 11? No more fruit ever grew from it again. It was cursed, and it died the following day! We must stay diligent to remain in the vine! Jesus says that "He's the true vine" in John 15, and if we remain in Him and He in us, we will bear much fruit. However, apart from Jesus, we can do nothing. The heart of the Call to War is prayer and the art of using prayer to conform to the Son of God (Romans 8:29-30). How you receive this seed will make all the difference in your life, as our brother Hosea (Hosea 10:12) told us to "break up of fallow ground" to make our soil ready to receive the seed of the Word! I pray that you break up the soil of your heart before digesting this material. May the Lord and Father of all heaven and earth bless you mightily.

At this time, I would like to say a great big thank-you to one of my sisters, Natalie. She has always been an example of Christ to me. Natalie has been and is an inspiration for many of the accomplishments in my life. She is four years younger than I am, but she has managed to excel and succeed in multiple aspects of life before I did, but because I watched her achieve much, I began to have the drive to pursue my passions. I am a visual learner, and watching my sister go after all she wanted showed me that I could do the very same. My sister, Natalie, stood by me in encouragement as I have written this book. Thank you, dear friend and sister, Natalie. May you continue to inspire others to follow the dreams God gives them in Jesus's name!

My sister Stephanie has always gladly listened to my thoughts on how I can use my talents to better the kingdom of God. I really appreciate her, and her willingness to hear me out has helped me in ways she will never know on this side of heaven. Thank you, dear friend and sister Stephanie. May your spirit bleed over to mine so I, too, can hear others' ideas and encourage them as well.

Proof of Immeasurable Blessings

Poem Written in August 2020

Eleven years ago, I started a journey to better my life, which led to reading my Bible more.

Which turned into warfare prayer,

Which turned into better decisions,

Which led to a better life,

Which led to a deeper understanding of myself and every basic human rights.

Which opened my mind to prudence,

Which led to wisdom becoming a more frequent companion,

I wisdom dwell with prudence. (Proverbs 8:12 KJV)

Which caused a chain reaction,

Which helped me stop letting in the very things that assaulted my personal identity, kept me bound with lies, shrank my self-worth, offended my soul, and weakened my mindset.

Hope followed!

Which brought me to my knees in gratitude to God.

Which expelled pride.

Which led me to the altar twenty-six months ago,

This act awoke my soul,

Which led me to get baptized twenty-five months ago,

Which led me to God, who kissed me,

Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine. (Song of Solomon 1:2 KJV)

Which woke me up (Ephesians 5:14)!

You too can awake from the darkness that holds you in prison to become a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
