About this ebook

Mike and his girlfriend, Lana Chen, are about to sit down for a romantic, candlelit dinner.  Nothing will stop them from doing so…except an unexpected visit from Lana's great-grandparents.  Sure, they seem like nice people, but there's one small problem: they've been dead for the past century.

From alien encounters to otherworldly excursions, Witching Hour is a series of stories about the weirdness lurking just beneath the surface of everyday life.

This story is also available in the novella Witching Hour: Volume 1.

No fair! she shouted before pouting her lips.

Mike stared at her as a devilish grin formed on his lips.  Lana’s eyes widened and she broke into a sprint as he chased her around the kitchen island, lightly whipping the towel in her direction and hitting only thin air.

I thought enough is enough, Mike said, shielding himself from another attempted attack.  He shifted his arms and used the framed photograph as a shield, causing Lana to stop her onslaught.

Leave great-grandmother and great-grandfather out of this, she said in a lighthearted manner, placing the towel on the island countertop.

I’m just keeping this conflict in the family.

Lana chuckled again as she took
