    God’s Choices Are Good Choices

    In today’s Bible passage, the Apostle Paul wrote a letter to the church in Rome to help the people understand how they could be right with God. The people were confused, and Paul was trying to help them to understand that just hearing the Law of Moses was not enough to make them right with God. Paul wanted them to understand that knowing the Law would not be enough to get God's approval. They had not lived under God's Law. When they followed the Law, they were showing the world they knew right from wrong where it mattered—and that was in their hearts. By acting according to their faith, the Gentiles were showing others that God's Law had a special place in their hearts. Paul’s message was that one day, God would judge us by our own
