After ear

in trash they fall

where I greet them,

their wax ends:

I make bends!

I drop in shoes

through the room

and even socks—

most that loom.

My human,

who says, Ick!,

puts Q-tips

in bags, so slick.

He doesn’t know

that that’s okay—

I’ll take those bags

to shred and play!**
