Mighty Military And Aggressive Foreign Policy Of USA: Horrendous Twin Pillars Of National Security
By Terry Nettle

About this ebook
Despite being the number 1 superpower of the world and has the largest and most lethal military force, America seems to be preoccupied with national security.
Could it be because American politicians are obsessed with the longstanding American hegemony, and are loathed to see any possible challenge to its position? Could it be the American politicians are using the highly sensitive issue of national security to justify their belligerent behaviour towards other nations?
The overwhelming military might and aggressive foreign policy are obviously the twin pillars of the national security policy of American politicians.
But are these policies justified? Is USA really facing serious threats of war and threats to its national security?
In a world following the 1991 spectacular implosion of the Soviet Union, USA's only real rival since the end of WW2, is USA still feeling insecure? Does USA still need to maintain its enormous military capability? Does it still needs an aggressive foreign policy to get its way internationally? Is USA politicians now looking for new enemies and adversaries to justify their old policies?
Are these obsolete American policies now posing a grave threat to global peace? Are more wars looming in the horizon?
These are important issues examined in this book.

Mighty Military And Aggressive Foreign Policy Of USA - Terry Nettle
2. What Is National Security?
Despite being the number 1 superpower of the world and has the largest and most lethal military force, America seems to be preoccupied with national security.
Could it be because American politicians are obsessed with the longstanding American hegemony, and are loathed to see any possible challenge to its position? Could it be the American politicians are using the highly sensitive issue of national security to justify their belligerent behaviour towards other nations?
Certainly, nothing can stir up stronger emotions of the public than issues that seem to concern public safety and security. And by couching everything under the broad cover of national security, the American politicians can be sure of public support in all the things that they do which are supposed to protect American national security.
3. National Security Is Priority?
It may appear that American politicians are focusing on the issue of national security because of an immediate threat to the survival of the nation of the close and present danger type.
But the fact is that no other nations in the world are even close to threatening
