Chapter 1. Political Jokes
There is a political joke that says that it is better to be an enemy of the Americans than their friend. This is because if you are their enemy, they might try to buy you; but if you are their friend they will definitely sell you.
That this joke had been told many times over with either the American empire or the British empire as the main culprit shows how disillusioned people are about these self-important politicians and empire-builders. Universally, there is clearly a great distrust about politicians' true intentions and their self-serving actions.
Unfortunately, while that joke certainly applies to the latest and final episode of the chaotic pullout of US troops from Afghanistan in 2021, it is not always true. The fact is that if you are their enemy, they will surely want to destroy you by the use of their overwhelming military force, or by remote-controlled assassin drones, or by subterfuge, or by any other means possible.
And that is just politics!
Chapter 2. Political Myths About Nobel Peace Prize
Politics has created so much myths all over the world that people no longer know what good politics is and what dubious politics is.
One of the most egregious deeds of the Nobel Prize Committee was to completely politicize the award of the Nobel Peace Prize. Because of its unbelievable arrogance and ignorance, it has made that prestigious prize a tool of Western politicians and mass media to influence politics in other countries to meet their political goals.
In 2007, former US Vice President Al Gore and the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) shared the Nobel Peace Prize because he is probably the single individual who has done most to create greater worldwide understanding of the measures that need to be adopted.
It was absurd that the Nobel Committee had deemed it fit to
