China Hawks Of The West: So Hawkish Yet So Scared

About this ebook
Why are so many politicians in the West so hawkish about China? Why have they become veritable China hawks?
From the repeated use of all their shrill and alarming words against China, it is quite obvious that these China hawks are petrified of the thought of China conquering the whole world and reducing them to slavery!
But they should not have been so worried because China doesn't have the means nor the desire to conquer the world. Surely China is not Hitler's Germany.
Taiwan is an issue that the China hawks have doggedly exploited as an important reason for the West to act decisively in unison against China. While the China hawks have convinced themselves that China is planning and preparing to invade Taiwan, the fact is that China is unlikely to want an unnecessary war to disrupt its economic progress.
China hawks have repeatedly argued that the best way to deter China from attacking Taiwan is to arm Taiwan to the teeth with western weapons. Little do they know that, as exemplified in an ancient Chinese proverb on the self-conflicting argument about using the best shield against the best spear, this type of circular argument is self-deceiving.
In the worst case scenario of Taiwan declaring independence, China is more likely to mount a total blockade of Taiwan Strait than to invade Taiwan.
Hopefully, in time, USA will move to adopt a more rational policy towards China. And the rest of the West will fall in line with the new realities.
When that happens, China hawk will become an extinct species.

China Hawks Of The West - Terry Nettle
1. Scared?
Are those hawkish politicians of the West so afraid of the rise of China that they must spread all kinds of disinformation to damage China? Or are they just afraid of losing the West's hegemony?
Are they setting China up as the boogeyman for all their own internal problems?
Are they so pessimistic about the prospects of genuine peace in the world that they must prepare their military for war? Are they trying to prepare their own people for a disastrous war against China?
2. Obsession
All these are questions that need to be answered if the quirky obsession of the China hawks of the West are to be understood and managed.
Clearly, this is critical to prevent the increasingly hostile international environment from descending into the depth of terrible wars, and even the most dreaded WW3.
Surely, to prevent conflicts and wars around the world, the politically motivated hatred and confrontation must not be allowed to continue to poison important international relationships. All the vitriolic and
